Chapter 33: 32- Tsunade: Develop Strange Power by Yourself? How Can It Be!
Senju Tobirama: "Heh, that kid really is inherently wicked!"
Uchiha Madara: "You're being too polite. We Uchiha aren't as twisted as your dear disciple."
Senju Tobirama: "It's just Uchiha Sasuke's perspective. The truth is still unclear!"
Uchiha Madara: "Heh, you'll know the truth soon enough, Tobirama. Are you feeling anxious?"
Senju Tobirama: "Bah! I'm not the anxious one!"
Senju Hashirama: "Will you two stop bickering?"
Kurenai Yuhi: "Is Hinata really eating that much?"
Akimichi Choji: "She's outdoing me, and that's saying something!"
Nara Shikamaru: "You'd never guess from the way she looks. Could Hinata have some Akimichi blood after all?"
Hyuga Hiashi: "Nonsense! Hinata is a pure-blooded Hyuga!"
Despite his firm response, Hiashi couldn't help but hesitate. Could it be that Hinata underperforms because she's simply not eating enough...?
He decided then and there: no matter what, he'd make sure Hinata ate as much as she wanted in the future. After all, the Hyuga family could certainly afford it.

["Sasuke, your speed is getting better and better," Kakashi remarks as he temporarily pauses, wiping the sweat from his forehead.]**

[However, Sasuke is still lacking in physical strength.]

[After all, Sasuke is only twelve years old.]
["Kakashi-sensei, is there any ninjutsu that can increase my strength?" Sasuke asks with a frown.]
[The Lightning Style stimulation greatly enhances his speed, but its effect on his strength is far less pronounced.]
[It's best to address such shortcomings as soon as possible.]
[Kakashi frowns thoughtfully for a moment before answering:]
["Strength is mostly determined by age and physical talent. If you want to improve it artificially, you'll need to rely on chakra.]
["For example, Tsunade-sama from the legendary Sannin has a technique that drastically increases strength."]
[Sasuke's eyes light up.]
["You mean her strange power? I've read that with one punch or kick, she can tear the ground apart!"]
[Kakashi nods and continues:]
["The basic principle behind the strange power technique is to focus a large amount of chakra into the hands or feet and release it at the exact moment to produce incredible force. However, I don't know how to train it."]
["Why not ask... oh, right." Sasuke trails off mid-sentence, noticing Kakashi's dejected look.]
[Kakashi, famous for conserving chakra, could hardly handle the Body Flicker Technique, let alone a high-chakra move like strange power...]

Tsunade: "Heh, I remember when that kid Kakashi tried asking me about the strange power technique. He gave up after learning the basic principle."
Uzumaki Kushina: "Does it really consume that much chakra? It never seemed like that to me."
Hatake Kakashi: "..."

[Tsunade is currently who knows where, and even if he could find her, she might not want to teach an Uchiha...]
[Kakashi scratches his head:]
["Other options include Earth Style. Some Earth Style jutsu can significantly boost strength. Aside from that, there are clan-specific techniques, like the ones used by the Hozuki Clan of Mist."]
[Sasuke frowns.]
[Neither option suits him.]
[Learning a clan secret technique is out of the question, and Earth Style, while useful, doesn't align with his natural fire and lightning chakra affinities. He'd have to spend time mastering Nature Transformation, and the payoff would be minimal compared to the effort.]
[Studying Earth Style would be a waste of time.]
[After some thought, Sasuke decides:]
["The key to strange power seems to be figuring out how to unleash a large amount of chakra in a single, powerful burst.]
["I can probably work out the mechanics of it on my own."]
[Immediately, Sasuke creates a Shadow Clone and has it relay orders to his other clones in different training areas. They begin experimenting and practicing the principles behind strange power.]

Tsunade: "??! He thinks he can develop strange power on his own?! That's insane! There's no way he can pull it off!"
Drawing from the Senju family's extensive heritage, it had taken Tsunade a long time to perfect the technique. Now, this brat Sasuke thinks he can just figure it out himself?!
Jiraiya: "Tsunade, don't be so quick to dismiss it..."
He still remembers doubting Sasuke's ability to master Nature Transformation on his own, only to get proven wrong.
Tsunade: "This is different! Developing strange power isn't something you can just pick up and learn!"
Orochimaru: "Heh, Tsunade, I'm looking forward to seeing your face when you realize you were wrong — just like Jiraiya."
Tsunade: "..."
She shakes her head in disbelief. Impossible!
If Sasuke really manages to figure it out, she'll eat her words — or worse, she'll eat a live porpoise!
