What happens when God dies?
When the sun disappeared under a thick blanket of storm clouds, crops and countries failed and fell. In a world that declared its demise to its unfortunate inhabitants, despair is the only plant that grows healthy. Unfortunately, looming forces beyond men now inhabit this world and threaten to make the apocalypse as painful as possible.

For Abram, the end of the world is the least of his concerns. Growing up under the iron fist of an oppressive feudal lord, raising his head to face the dark sky could result in execution. As such, the boy lived a life of subservience. Until, on a fateful night, hellfire blazed through his lands. Faced with a mystical spirit, Abram purchases incredible power for an unknown price. Though, failing to save his parents, the boy leaves the countryside for the big city, where ashen streets replace failing crops.
Thrown into the underground, Abram continues his miserable life until a healer named Issaied adopts him and enrolls him in a magic academy.

For Samul, a life beyond court intrigue and royal politics is his greatest wish. Born as the heir to the throne of a failing state, the young boy faces the tribulations and responsibilities of his kingdom with an optimistic smile. Unfortunately, while the court ladies danced and argued over books, Samul seemed to be the only person who could see that the world was ending. Having to choose stability and salvation, God only knew what he would choose.
