Chapter 8: Legacy
Gonna change Fighting God's bloodline to Fighting God's Blood. I'm going to change it to work just like ambrosia. Of course MC wouldn't become half god, that's just inappropriate, it was only a vial of blood, not a bucket or drum full of it.

After Ren took in the vial that contains a God's blood, he started feeling the pain. He felt his body undergoing through a massive change.
'I shouldn't have trusted my instincts like that!! F*ck!!' Ren tried to curse but what came out are screams of pain.
Yoruichi who's been cleaning herself, heard Ren's screams. She immediately rushed to his position without even wearing anything.
She saw Ren being covered in a black goo leaving only his head uncovered. Ren was screaming in pain and Yoruichi kneeled down, her face is facing Ren's face upside down while she held Ren's temples with her hands.
"Listen, whatever you did or you're currently going through, never ever close your eyes. Even if it feels good if you closed your eyes, never give in! Stay awake, Ren. Its fine if you scream, its much better than you closing your eyes, okay?!" Yoruichi encouraged Ren to stay awake. She don't want to touch the black goo because her instincts are telling her that that thing is dangerous.
Meanwhile, Ren felt the pain subside inside and the time felt slow and he saw a silhouette in the dark. The man has a black hair and he is smiling like he won't do any harm.
"Who... are you?" Ren asked.
Yoruichi on the other hand thought that Ren is hallucinating. She then started rubbing his face to wake him up.
'I am the Reaper. I have assassinated countless of lives. Lots of people hunt me down and lots of people hired me for my skills. I am a cold blooded killer who has took countless lives in my wake before I got captured, experimented and turning into this...' The man said and morphed to a yellow figure with lots of tentacles in his body.
'I am still the reaper, or should I say, Korosensei, after being experimented with countless amounts of poison in the body just to let antimatter run free on my body.' The Reaper said to him.
He then spoke to him and stared at him.
'I will pass on to you my legacy. I only hope you could use the skills I'm going to impart to you, for the sake of not only yourself but also those around you who had been with you through good time and bad time.' He said.
Ren felt the pain surging in his head right now. He was receiving the legacy of the reaper.
Yoruichi on the outside was startled after the black goo started moving from Ren's body to his head, wrapping itself around him. She let go of Ren's head and watched as everything unfold in front of her. She couldn't see Ren anymore after being swallowed by the black goo.
Ren started receiving knowledge all about assassination. From the basic thing like hiding your presence to the complicated stuff like crafty manoeuvres. After imparting the knowledge, the apparition left without saying anymore.
The goo surrounding his body was seeped by his body. No stains, not even in his clothes. Ren then opened his eyes. And saw Yoruichi facing him upside down once again.
"What... happened?" Yoruichi asked.
"Drank some stuff... I bought from the market, on sale. Never should've done that." Ren said making Yoruichi confused.
"What kind of stuff did you drink that you would scream in pain like that?" Yoruichi asked and was about to touch Ren.
"Stop...! Don't touch me... my body... changed. I don't know if its for the better or not... but my body... is highly toxic." Ren said to Yoruichi who had wide eyes.
Ren didn't experience physical change in his body other than the cells in his body creating poison and tonic at the same time, balancing it out.
"Looks like you don't believe me." Ren then sat up and picked up a leaf. The leaf started crumbling into dust in Ren's hand.
Ren had a sad smile on his face. He remembered the conversation he had with the Reaper about using his skills not only for himself but for also those around him. How could he use the Reaper's skills, if he can't even come close to those people around him?
Ren now felt complicated about buying the God's blood. Sure, he got power he seek, but he became a man of poison. The power that was granted to him has a curse inside.
Yoruichi saw the struggling Ren who was having a difficult time accepting the current him.
"What happened to you? What is the stuff that you drank?" Yoruichi asked.
"God's blood." Ren said and Yoruichi didn't seem to get it.
"I saw the item on sale on auction and no one's bidding for it. I then asked the overseer about it and told me that no one is buying it because merging with the blood of a God is not to be taken too lightly." Ren said as he continued.
"I don't know what took over me but my instincts are telling me to buy and drink it. I then met the Owner of the Blood and passed to me his legacy... Now... my body turned into this." Ren said which made Yoruichi surprised. She then remembered that Ren started talking as if he's hallucinating. Turns out that he was speaking with the owner of the blood.
"Can you handle yourself...? I think we should go back and rest." Yoruichi said with a worried tone.
"I'm going to be fine. I feel better than earlier." Ren said with a smile but Yoruichi knew that it was a fake smile.
Ren didn't experience some kind of massive buffs to his body like enhanced endurance or increased body strength. But with the knowledge he got from Korosensei, he started running efficiently making his moves smoother which surprised Yoruichi when she saw Ren running at such an efficient manner.
Others may not see it but Yoruichi do. Efficient running requires controlling every muscles Ren needs, to run at such a fast speed while only expending little energy.
When they returned, Ren is sweating but his breathing is stable. Yoruichi is simply amazed of it. Earlier when they went up and down the mountain, Ren was panting like a dog but now, his breathing is really stable.
Ren then started going back to work while Yoruichi is watching on the side.

ChocoCrinkols I'm making MC become an assassin cause I've already written two swordmaster so I guess I want an assassin as a change of pace. I plan on making him a burst assassin just like those RPG assassin that contains lots of CC lock skills and high damage attacks in his arsenal.
