Elijah Butler casually said, "I just went out, and my phone's dead!"

"Where's Cherish? Did she go home? I'll go find her!" Yannis Griffith was about to leave, but was held back by Elijah Butler. She looked up at him and said softly, "She went out to take a break, she's not at home! So, don't go looking for her!"

"Taking a break? Alone? Where did she go?" Yannis Griffith asked again.

"She..." Elijah Butler hesitated, recalling Cherish Turner's plea: Butler, don't tell anyone I'm pregnant, or where I am now, and especially don't tell Senior Yannis. I don't want to see them anymore, I just want to be alone.

Yannis Griffith's persistent gaze made Elijah Butler somewhat annoyed. She deliberately avoided his gaze and said with a smile, "She's gone to stay with some relatives for a bit, wanting some peace. She'll return in a few days."

"Could you tell me where her relatives live?" Yannis Griffith persisted.
