For days on end, Saint Mary Hospital remained peaceful.
That evening at nine o'clock, the lights of Saint Mary Hospital were brightly lit, and Hannah Garcia brought over some more dumplings, which William Cole was enjoying greatly.
These past few days, Hannah Garcia had been bringing dumplings every day, with fillings of cabbage, chocolate, pork, and white cabbage. William Cole was thoroughly enjoying them. Suddenly, he felt that having someone bring dumplings every day wasn't such a bad life.
As William Cole ate his dumplings, he subconsciously looked up towards Ruth Dawn's ward but didn't see her there.
William Cole found it odd.
In the past few days, whenever he ate dumplings, Ruth Dawn would always stand by the window watching him. Why wasn't she there today?
"Bang!"
Suddenly, a muffled sound rang out, and William Cole stood up with his bowl and chopsticks in hand, "What's going on?"
Crack!
