Chapter 9: Nine
"Elder Orchid! We are in trouble, the Demon king has taken Li Jing, what do you want us to do?" Iris asked, frantically.
"Senior Iris, it will be alright, I don't think he will not harm her, but we will get her back one way or another," Elder Orchid spoke, calmly.
"Ok, but how can you sound so sure? Is there something that you're not telling us?" Iris asked.
"As the matter of fact, there's quite a bit, but I've been sworn to secrecy by Li Jing's mother," Elder Orchid explained.
"Ok, so what is your plan to get her back safely?" Iris demanded, with the voice of concern. "Although Li Jing's power is still growing she will be able to protect herself," Iris added.
"Well, that we know already. We also don't want to start a war, so only Iris and I will go to the Demon realm to get her back," Elder Orchid suggested.

Elder Orchid and Senior Iris went off to the Demon realm and they immediately saw the Demon king and Li Jing. She wasn't hurt but she was drawn towards the power.
"Li Jing! Stay away from there, that power is unstable. No one has been able to harness its true power," Elder Orchid pleaded.
Li Jing was barely listening, it was like she was in a trance, her hand drawing nearer to the power source that looked like black dust clouds, it was encased by a spell so it couldn't escape, but anything could go in. Senior Iris wanted to do something but she was too late. The tips of Li Jing's fingers touched the source and were immediately absorbed into her. Normally, a person wouldn't be able to handle that much power, but Li Jing was different, she was still in full control. Elder Orchid, Senior Iris and the Demon king couldn't believe that she had taken in all the power and were still able to stand.
"I feel absolutely great, now I really do feel invincible," Li Jing boasted and laughed.
"Li Jing, don't do anything foolish. We have to tell you something," Elder Orchid rushed out.
"Yes, what is it?" " Li Jing groaned.
"Your mother was seduced by a guy from the Demon realm, so therefore you are part Cultivation and part Demon. You have more power than anyone can understand, don't do anything reckless," Elder Orchid pleaded.
"I'm not going to do anything reckless. I know exactly what I want and I am wasting no time to get it. I'm off," Li Jing told them. Then she disappeared.
"Where do you think she went, Senior Iris?" Elder Orchid asked.
"I have a hunch, follow me," Senior Iris ordered.
