Lucas didn't respond. Instead, he entered the room and collapsed into Olive's arms, crying uncontrollably. Olive's expression shifted from concern to shock, and she embraced him tightly, trying to comfort him.

"What's wrong, Lucas?" she whispered, her voice trembling. "You're scaring me."

She stroked his hair, attempting to soothe him as he wept, his body shaking with emotion. The rain outside seemed to intensify, mirroring the turmoil in Lucas's heart.
