Chapter 77: Promise

"The soul of a black magic user?" Kevin and Lilith repeated together in shock.

"That is so.....inhuman. What type of creature would do that? How is that even possible?" Lilith's hands shook at the thought of something so cruel.

"Indeed it is. They peel off the human flesh, watching them cry in pain, and before they die they let a mage that can transfer souls, take it. I am not sure if Yasura went through that same process but that is what I have heard." Coby explained.

Lilith could hardly believe what she was hearing. It was surprising alone that she remained sane after all that. That's if she went through all that.

"She barely has any memories of what happened," Coby added.

"That's...." 

"Something else." Lilith finished Kevin's sentence.

"Where is she now?" Kevin asked.

"If I had to guess...probably the roof." 

Hearing this, Kevin picked up Asura which was thrown by Yasura, and headed out.
