They heard a low groan of pain from one of the cabins and they rushed in.
When they got in, Sunain got down to action quickly. Risa was right, it wasn't pretty. More people had been injured than usual. It would happen again. The guards would go into the village and pick people randomly to join the mines, the disheartening thought jarred at her but she tried to keep the thought away from her mind. Risa assisted in the best way she could, fetching her everything she needed like she always did. After a long time, they were done. They left the cabin and Gamama greeted them with cookies.
"You are here. You must be hungry." She handed the cookies to Sunain. She accepted and started eating quickly.
Before they could have any further conversation, Dek came in. He greeted them all quickly, grabbed a large cup of water and gulped it down then took some cookies from Sunain's plate.
"How is it going?" Sunain asked Dek.
