A tempting offer like that was nothing to say no to and, that was what exactly Jide had done, he hadn't said no to it.
He had a condition though and that was to be allowed to send a letter back home to his family.
The Wahidin had no problem with that, he told him to retire to his room and that someone would bring him a quill, a bottle of ink and the rest of the things he needed later. Also anytime he was ready to send the letter, all he had to do was request for a bird from any of the guards that would be stationed around his room, and he would be given.
Jide had nodded with a smile then allowed himself to be lead to the room they had prepared for him.
Never in his life had he thought he would be glad to his heart to laid his eyes on a properly laid a bed, not just that, but a bed!
He was moved to tears.
When last had he laid on a bed?
Also, here was a room.
His room!
When was the last time he had that?
This felt like absolute luxury.
