Chapter 83: Quinn and Alex (2)

Alex appeared beside Quinn just after the icicles were deflected and punched him in the face. He didn't harbor the intention to kill and so he held back a bit with the power of his punch, choosing to deliver a series of weaker punches rather than one heavy one.

Face, ribs, stomach, all of it received several punches before Alex finally allowed Quinn to fall to his knees. He had a cut on his head that gushed out way more blood than necessary, as is always the case for a wound on the head, and his body was severely bruised but not broken.

"Alright man, that's enough. I'm sure you've realized that I'm not trying to kill you so let's just stop this here." Alex said nonchalantly as he crouched down to the same level as Quinn.
