Sensing the lowering pace of grunting beast, Valentina tries to unwrap her arms around him, but he stops her fussing. His one arm clutches her wrist and presses it tightly against his chest.

/"Maintain the act./" He muttered through gritted teeth and almost immediately, her fist encloses the dark cloak from the front. Her body shifts closer to his as if he will shield her from the upcoming storm. Her vigilant eyes now focused on the surroundings and she couldn’t help but observes how beautiful his land was. Her orbs haven’t seen such lush and green scenery before. She has spent half of her life by gawking at the barren lands and rotten bodies of her kingdom. The drought had stripped once beautiful Alvar to that of a dry sanctum.

/"Talk only when I ask and remember to recite everything you’ve learned from Udona. Alright?/" he asked and she nodded tenderly.
