Chapter 45: TO MY WORLD

"Thank you for the amazing night, Lilah." He smiled while letting go of her hands after a long slow dance.

"I should be thanking you for everything. You prepared so well." She chuckled.

"It wouldn't have been possible if you rejected me." 

"I didn't find any reason to reject a mysterious man like you." 

"How am I mysterious? I think I will be the most predictable man anyone could encounter. I talk way too open." 

"Still there are a lot of layers to be seen in you. You are interesting." 

Even Kristen had no idea what she was saying and why she was reassuring him as if it was her sole reason for life. They were just standing under the shining moonlight on the balcony when she slowly snaked his hands around her waist from behind. Kristen gasped a little but relaxed as soon as he started drawing circles to soothe her. Her head was thrown back and resting on his chest while staring down at the city lights.
