1 Week after the class wake-up day at the center, professionals and novices were taken out of Eden
The desire of the first beast hunted constituted a weapon suitable for one's class and empowerment
Leroy was walking with the team, muttering the following
"I got 2 classes and 1 empowerment... for nothing, and now Eliot has teamed up with another empowerment student, I'm no different from a normal person. I could die"
"But of course there must be something I can do."
He kept thinking:
"The powerless creatures here can't perceive people, if I use my power-up and hide my desire, I can fool one of them."
Leroy got in front of one of the barricades in the area where the recruits were hunting, and began to wait using his reinforcement.
He was away from the hunting team because he was waiting, but he believed in himself. Because his desire was hidden, a creature that did not feel him exactly as he wanted was passing by, he picked up a stone in his hand and just as he was about to throw, he heard the shouts of the professionals.
"ALL STUDENTS, RUN TOWARDS THE CITY OF EDEN WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH!!"
Panicked by being away from the team, Leroy was trying to figure out what was happening, he wanted to get closer to the team, but since everyone was running away using their skills, they were quite far away.
Looking around, he realized why everyone is running to Eden, thousands of creatures were coming from the north towards the hunting ground at a tremendous speed.
Leroy is in shock:
"I don't want to die."
He started to run, with his full strength.
The swarm of creatures would fill the entire hunting area in two minutes, he realized from the speed of the creatures that he could not escape and shouted:
"HELP ME"
No one heard this painful sound.

Eliot had become quite close to Eden while continuing with the team, the most senior of the professionals looked at the students and said:
"One person is missing"
At that time, Leroy var was running screaming with all his might.
"PLEASE HELP ME!"
"I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"
There was no strength left in his body, he could clearly see Eden and the team, but the distance was too much.
Eliot rushed forward to save his friend and activated his reinforcement. Leroy, who saw this, got hopeful and started running again.
The other student who received his empowerment grabbed Eliot by the arm and said "You are not fast enough, you'll both die."
One of the professionals got in front of Eliot by saying, "Even ım not that fast. I'm sorry…"
He could not get rid of the students who got in front of him and could not go to help.
He bent his head forward and approached the entrance gate on the walls of Eden.
Seeing that Eliot had given up, Leroy got down on his knees and shouted vigorously with the last remaining strength in his body.
"I WAS WRONG!"
"YOU'RE GOING TO DIE NOT BECAUSE YOU WANT TO, ELIOT, BUT BECAUSE YOU'RE AFRAID."
Eliot looked at Leroy collapsed on the ground in the distance one last time
He watched him being torn apart by creatures and entered Eden
Less than 1 Minute later, the creatures forced the technological walls of Eden, but they couldn't even scratch it.
Eliot was staring at the ground with empty eyes.
Nell: This happened to him because he was powerless, he should not have gone outside the walls.
Eliot: I should have taken care of him, he was my best friend-
Nell: bla bla bla we are students who have received empowerment, we should make sacrifices for the sake of protecting the public, not for one person.
Eliot nodded in silence and took out the desire of the creature he was hunting and showed it to Nell.

*a few days later*
"My head hurts"
"My whole body..."
"I? Am I alive?"
Leroy looked up than looked around, he was definitely outside the walls, he was in a dilapidated office.
"You're awake!"
As soon as Leroy heard this sound, he straightened up and looked behind him, a 2-meter-tall humanoid creature was coming towards him.
"Don't be scared."
Leroy: What's going on
"You hid your desire and got in front of the barricade, and then you waited for the creature and wanted threw a stone at it. You was planning to make the creature hit the barricade."
Leroy: Who are you?
"Your body was shattered."
Leroy: I Said, who are you?
"I stitched you up using my own body, each stitch vibrating much faster than the human brain can understand, making you heal faster than anything."
Leroy: Creatures kill humans. Why did you saved me?
"As you hunt our people, we actually hunt your people too. We can only eat human desire."
Leroy tried to stand up and feel his class and empowerment, but nothing was reacting inside of his body.
"I didn't do anything to your desire."
Leroy: Thanks… ı guess.
"It has come to my attention that you have such a ridiculous class match that writes inside your desire-"
Leroy changed the subject because he didn't want to hear about it.
Leroy: Anyway, I was left for dead, it doesn't mean anything to live, thanks to you, going back there means I will die again, standing here means I will die again, most likely you'll consume me when you're hungry.
"I actually eat fruit."
Leroy: Damn it
"Hm?"
Leroy: People are afraid creatures because we are afraid of death, we are getting stronger and hunting, we are living inside the walls and building new armies, but you are living like animals in your own ecosystem. If you were afraid, you wouldn't have saved me... I think you monsters are more fearless than humans.
The creature in a muffled voice. Said:
"If you were afraid, you would run away."
Leroy did not understand and looked at the creature.
The creature extracted a desire from within itself and showed it to Leroy.
"Only 3 of the creatures tore you apart, you were not afraid and you were in a battle to the death, you took one of them with you because you knew you were going to die."
Leroy looked at the creature and began to tremble, the creature's body was melting and revealing something
"You're going to die anyway, aren't you? I'm not like normal creatures, I work with an instinct more than a desire, and this instinct felt a fear that it had never witnessed before with your attack at that moment."
Leroy: Were you scared? How?
The creature interrupted him with a harsh voice.
"There's a reason I'm like this, that makes me can talk and think, take my instinct and make me feel fearless for the last time in my life as a living being.
"I became like this because I didn't want to be afraid, one day you will understand."
Leroy slowly approached and took the instinct into his hands, he felt a tremendous power, it belonged to a creature whose danger level was extremely high!
He brought it close to his chest and witnessed the entrance to his body, he could feel that every inch of the creature was processed from his bones to his organs.
Since his first desire was an instinct, a voice echoed in his brain.
WEAPON!!
