Chapter 25: Mana Circuit

"Don't worry about it, he wasn't that dangerous." I spoke looking at Arna and Kelin who were extremely tense.
"I see, is there something we should know?" Kelin asked as I just sighed.
"Not right now, Tomorrow I will be engraving the mana circuit on Naofumi so you will also be getting if I am able to engrave it on him you both are next." I spoke as they nodded.
I tossed the compass into the inventory before I patted Kelin's shoulder,
"I will get you far above that level, keep that in mind" I spoke as he nodded, "Rest for now tomorrow is going to be a long day."
They seemed to get the message as both of them went away.
"I think I did warn you to not try to come near me" I looked at the head of the queen's shadow I had seen in through the communicator.
"I am here to deliver a message from her majesty."
"News sure travels fast"
"Her Majesty requests that you delay telling the Heroes about the envoys."
"So you want me to break my word to the envoys?"
"Absolutely not Sir hero, it would lead to chaos that may lead to Melromac's fall."
"So you are scared that if I tell Naofumi about Siltvelt he will go there and cry war, and Sheildfreeden may even join them Charging straight through heading for this place."
"...." She didn't reply.
"I am waiting for an answer, Shadow" I spoke releasing my mana from what I had sensed the gap in our mana levels wasn't too high to overcome.
"Yes, sir Hero" she replied gritting her teeth.
"And what do I get in return for delaying such a thing?"
"We would be able to keep innocents saf..."
"Don't give me that bullshit, if you cared so much you would have kept your little princess in check."
"That was an unforeseen event, her Majesty was dealing with the other nations and thus she wasn't able to do anything."
"Does it look like I give fuck?"
"What would you like? I will forward the message to the queen."
"Well then I would ask for immunity, I don't have to explain how Immunity works right?"
"Th..that....I will forward the message to the queen."
"Get back by early morning because I will be meeting him, oh and keep your little pipsqueaks away from him tomorrow."
"Understood" She spoke before she disappeared outside.
Kelin and Arna were standing outside in the corridor.
"I think I told you to rest didn't I?"
"Well we were waiting for you, I am in that room" Kelin replied walking away, should get him a girl soon so that he doesn't feel like a third wheel.
"Where is your room?" I asked as Arna pointed at the door behind her,
"And mine" Same answer, I just smirked.

--Next Day--
I woke up finding Arna hugging me closely, as I slowly got out of bed covering her again, before changing and going to the bathroom.
Honestly I was quite curious about the immunity, weather it would be given or not after all if she wasn't careful I might just slaughter half the capital using that.
I got my answer when I was downstairs as the shadow appeared again this time with a medallion.
"You have been granted immunity according to our agreement Sir Hero." the shadow spoke placing the medallion in front of me and left without amother word.
I looked at it it had the crest of Melromac on it, showing the authority it welded,
Well things will be getting much more interesting.
I waited as Arna and Kelin came down before odering some breakfast.
"Eat up you will need it" I spoke as they didn't question and ate up quickly.
Before we left heading for the smithy,
I was checking the surroundings, not finding anyone even more after meeting Joel I had my guard up.
We arrived at the smithy Finding Naofumi and Raftalia inside.
"Can't see Baldy around?"
"My name is not Baldy, and since when did this place become your meeting place?" He asked keeping what looked like about ten swords on the counter.
"Ever since I became a VIP customer." I replied.
"You are not a VIP customer," Ernhard replied looking at me as I just shrugged.
"You ready?" I spoke as Naofumi nodded.
"What exactly are you guys doing?" Ernhard asked curiously as I smiled
"Something something"
Raftalia seemed nervous about this, seemed like Naofumi told her about it .
"Can we start?" Naofumi asked as I smiled.
"Don't be too excited, after we start you will wish that it didn't start since you are not using your own mana to form the circuit." I spoke as Naofumi looked at me.
"You got an empty space?" I asked Ernhard who nodded leading us to the back it seemed like some kind of storage room.
"Remove your shirt, sit, and grit your teeth" I spoke grabbing a leather belt as Naifumi started removing his shirt.
"Ah.." I smirked looking at Raftalia's reaction, as I signaled Arna to come closer.
"Tell her now she would have to marry Naofumi since she has seen him like this, if she asks about just say that you say me like that" I whispered as she nodded, smiling evilly.
Kelin looked at us but just shook his head, I was far too enjoying the scene as Aran went upto Raftalia.
I sat down behind Naofumi placing my hand on his back giving him the leather belt to bite on.
Naofumi breathed in deeply and nodded.
I started pushing my mana into his body which tried to resist the mana as I overrode the mana flow willing it to my will.

His body didn't seem to be reacting as badlly as I thought, I continued to push through maybe it was a Lower Circuit that his body was adapting rapidly.
It was halfway when the real thing started to show as his muscles tightened up and he groaned, as I pushed my mana even further as his body shook from the pain.
"Hold him down" I spoke as Arna and Kelin immediately grabbed him preventing him from moving as his Muscles began to spasm.
I could spear that he had bitten through the belt by now as I was just able to finish the circuit, as his mana started replacing my mana flowing through the circuit.
"You can relax now, it will be uncomfortable for a while but you ca move now." I spoke as Naofumi spat the belt out.
"I though there would be pain" He spoke clenching his fist feeling the mana flowing freely.
"Well it will take sometime to fully settle in, but you should be good to go" I spoke as he nodded.
I breathed out slowly recovering my mana.
I saw Ernhard looking at me,
"What?"
"This mana Circuit could it be implemented on weapons?" He asked I smiled I would have expected as much since he is a blacksmith.
"Well Circuit cannot be but Runes can be implemented"
"Runes?"
"Right..you don't know.." I forgot that he didn't know about runes as I took out the Isolating rune I was carrying around imbuing my mana slightly and created a zone.
I tossed the rune to Ernhard,
"That's a rune, the only problem is that I don't know how to put them on a weapon" I replied as Ernhard scratched his head.
"I don't even understand the script, but why did you use a cracking rock to use the rune on?"
"It was not cracking when I inscribed the rune, the rune accelerates the degradation" I replied as he looked at it again.
He was quite confused by it, as I just sighed.
"Go outside and rest, I have to give these two a mana circuit too." I spoke as Naofumi looked at me.
"People of this world can have mana circuit too?"
"Well I had a brave volunteer for that, but yes they can though it is a little more difficult than it was for you." I replied as I shooed him away and got down to engraving the circuit, surprisingly Kelin was much more easy to work on.
And Arna...well her inner masochist started coming out so her moans every now and then had me planting a punch on her head with my free hand.
But soon I was down with those two as I walked out to see a red faced Raftalia looking at Arna who looked flush.
"Should I know what was happening inside?" Naofumi asked looking at Arna.
"This bitch is a masochist" I spoke as Naofumi looked at Kelin who sighed and nodded.
"W..well anyway I wanted you to give Raftalia a circuit too." He said as I looked at Raftalia.
"Not that I won't be able to do it but I don't know much about Demi-human body that the circuit won't have any effect on her." I replied as Naofumi sighed.
"Then we will have to wait.."
"Yeah you run into some bad demi-humans then capture them. Bad guys make excellent volunteers" I spoke as the three looked at me since they had not seen me gather volunteers.
"What?" I asked seeing their expression.
"Nothing I was expecting you to be normal,but know what forget it. Let's get on with enhancement." Naofumi replied, as I smirked.
"Sure let's get out of the city first, since it would be a practical lesson."
"Why are you smiling like that?" Arna asked as Kelin seemed to understand, I was going to get a lot more hands on with these fuckers now.

3rd POV
--some distance from the capital--
The party of three Demi-humans were travelling back to Siltvelt when Kroan looked at Lopan.
"Lopan are you alright now?" Krokan asked seeing that Lopan was much more relaxed now.
"Yes I figured out why I was feeling like that, it was because of the Sword Hero." Lopan replied as Kari coughed.
"Yeah he is your Dragon right!" She replied with a laugh.
"He might be..."
"Yeah, he is powerful but no way he is a drag...wait what? do you even realise what you are saying a dragon chosen as the sword hero"
"Well I am not saying he is a dragon, but I am sure he is related to them in some way the feeling I got from is unlike anything I had when I was in the presence of a dragon emperor, it felt far more raw yet suppressed ready to burst out."
"So you are saying that the sword hero might not be a human?" Krokan asked as Lopan sighed.
"I don't know, if I was perhaps able to talk to him then I might have been able to figure something out but right now I have no clue, even you didn't sense anything."
"You are an Aotatsu, your sensitivity for Dragons are far higher than others" Krokan replied before sighing.
"Let's get back the truth will come out soon enough" Krokan replied as they continued on thier way.

1st POV
--Just outside the Capital--
Kugh!
Naofumi crumbled as I stood looking at him as I sensed Raftalia tried to attack me from the back as I sidestepped kicking her away, she really needed a proper training.
I ducked under Kelin's swing hitting him under the chin with the hilt of my sword before grabbing his collar and throwing him over my shoulder into Naofumi who was trying to get up as I punched an incoming Arna.
"Come on bitches, I am not even using enhancement" I spoke up as they groaned and got up.
"Naofumi you think too much trying to use enhancement it should be instinct, Arna and Kelin I have been teaching you the basics so what the fuck is this?, and Raftalia you hesitate too much, one day you will have to draw blood, human or demi human since he is bound to have enemies" I looked at them.
They looked a lot down especially Raftalia, I just shook my head seems like I have gone soft.
"I am going to beat you all up until you will be crawling back to the inn, so get ready fuckers I will make you learn even if you want to run away." I smiled as they shivered before Naofumi charged forward first as I smiled dodging the shield bash slamming him into the ground as the next round began.
