"—Mhm, I'll see you later, Chii!" (Y/n) heartily laughed as ended the call. Sliding her cellphone back into her pocket, she tossed her bag onto the floor.
"Eh..." (Y/n) removed her shoes as she neatly placed them by her doorstep. She quietly closed the door right behind her as she hung her coat on the racket. She shook her head as she haggardly threw herself onto her couch. "Am I forgetting something...?"
"It's probably nothing..." She mumbled to herself as her (e/c) swept around her house. Her house—no, MANSION, had more than enough rooms for fifty people. Yet, it was quite empty. (Y/n) never liked wasting her money on things she wouldn't need, so she had never bothered to question it. However, whenever (Y/n) brought up the topic about their house, her two younger brothers had always ended up changing the topic.
She let out a frustrated sigh as she sipped her (f/f) tea. "Gah... this stupid headache," (Y/n) grumbled to herself as she placed down the empty porcelain teacup. She scrunched her nose up in disgust, as the bitter taste of the tea still remained in her mouth.
"I should ask the doctor to prescribe me some other types of medicine later." She groaned as she got up to throw away the bottle of pills. For as long as (Y/n) could remember, she had to take her daily dose of medicine in order to keep her "headaches" at bay. However, recently her headaches have been acting up. (Y/n) didn't know what was causing her migraines to worsen, so she simply took the easy route. She started asking her doctor to prescribe her more medicine in order to calm her migraines.
Humming a tune that she had heard from somewhere, or someone, she picked up a black and white headset.
"Ah... that's right, I promised Chii and—"
"Demon Slayer Online, also known as D.S.O. This is the most popular MMORPG game of 2020! Before the game was even released, millions of people were already hyped up for this game!" The reporter exclaimed as he handed the microphone to a man with curly black hair.
"Is there anything you would like to say to the media, Kibutsuji-sama?"
The man smiled as he accepted the mic from the reporter. "Thank you all for the support, and may the odds ever be in your favor. I wish you all a safe gameplay."
The reporter grinned ear to ear, as he was clearly pleased by Kibutsuji's words. "What a kind, and fascinating man you are, Kibutsuji—"
Grabbing the remote control, (Y/n) turned off the tv. "That's right, they kept pestering me to get this." She sighed as swung her bedroom door open. In one hand she had her phone, in her other hand, she had the headset.
(Y/n) laid down on her bed, as she was about to put on her headset, only to stop herself when she remembered something. She picked up her phone hoping to see a message or two from her younger brothers, however to her dismay, there was nothing.
"He must be really busy then," she mumbled as she placed down her phone. "...But then why didn't Chi tell me anything...?"
"Oh well, I'll see them soon anyways..."
Sliding on the D.S.O. headset without hesitation, (Y/n) shut her eyes as she let herself drift off to sleep. Her eyes snapped open she was met with a ray of colors.
"Welcome to Demon Slayer Online! Please create your profile..."

The principal heaved a sigh as his face contorted into worry. "The two boys haven't been seen anywhere for the past 6 months." He uttered out as he pulled out a piece of paper from his folder. "If the boys don't show up by next week, we'll pay a visit to the Kioku Residence."
"Understood."
