Chapter 50: Chapter 44
Ai was still snuggled in the covers as he finally pushed his rampaging thoughts aside, he swiftly shifted from his human self to his Fox form. He still didn't understand what was wrong with him, but he wouldn't worry too much.
Instead he'd just be in his original form! He didn't need to worry about his fears from before now that he was already bound to Wang, and at least in this body, the male couldn't torment him into doing those naughty things again! Well, not at least until he felt it was okay to do them...
When Wang entered the room again, Ai was still nuzzled in the blankets, his body hiding within the many layers of bunched up fabrics. Wang's eyes seemed confused as he looked around before turning to stare at the bundle.
"Ai?" he then called out in a indulging tone, he shifted over to lightly probe at the blankets, his expression unsure of what his silly wife was doing now.
Ai slowly popped his head out as he kept himself buried in the fluff. "I'm sleeping, shush!" the youth lied as he made a point to snuggle himself even more into the sheets.
Wang wasn't sure if he should laugh or cry! His wife once again was tormenting him in his fox form! Though he had to say, he was more adorable now then before! The rebirth had not only allowed his spirit to heal in a really beautiful way, but the purple markings on the fox seemed even deeper, more pure and alluring!
"Love, why are you as such?" he asked as if at a loss. He'd finally gobbled his wife up, what more he was sure that his actions had deepened their bound somehow, what more the male seemed to also have increased in strength.
Ai huffed as he shifted, moving so his head was lying down as he closed his eyes. "So you can't torment me again! My body hurts" he said as if pitiful. Though, he didn't seem as angry as one would have thought. Wang let out a hopeless laugh. He should be glad his little wife wasn't blaming him ah?
After a while of silence, Ai finally lifted his head again to narrow his gaze to that he male who seemed in a daze. "You...okay?" he then asked as if unsure.
He knew his body was different from other spirit beasts, and it would hold a benefit to others if they 'linked' with another. But he wasn't sure how his body would affect Wang. It seemed slightly from how a normal nine-tailed fox was so the effects might have also changed?
Wang wasn't sure what the little thing was going on now, so he blinked a few times before nodding. "Yes, why?" he asked as if lost. He really didn't understand why the other would ask about his own well being?
Ai pouted slightly as he inspected the others cultivation only to find it had surprised his own? Ah?! He swiftly freed himself from the blankets before pouncing on the larger male.
Wang swiftly caught the small fox as he seemed confused as to what he wanted, his wife was willing to jump into his arms ah, but why as a fox?!
"You....No fair!" he said in a huff as he lightly swatted at the other male. He himself had felt the benefits of their acts when he woke up, but he'd only gone to the peak of his level! But Wang seemed to skip to the next level and was about mid way through! So hateful!
