Reyna's POV-
It's the morning of the day that we go to Hogwarts. We have spent a week just growing comfortable with the different environment and trying to learn as much background knowledge as possible. From what I have heard from everyone is that Hogwarts is a school that takes students from ages eleven to seventeen, but this year it would be having an extra grade because of the war, and that is the year that we will be mingling with. Everyone was finishing their packing so we won't be late to catch the train, which is the only way to get to the school. Once we all finished we met outside The Leaky Cauldron, as ordered by Annabeth. Leo and Nico were the only ones that we are waiting for, as everyone had started packing yesterday. Before they came down, a car pulled up in front of us.
"Are you guys the American Exchange students heading for King's Cross Station?" one of the guys from the front seat asked us. We all nodded our heads and he then got out to open the trunk for us. We put our stuff in the back and got in the car, the car itself was huge, we almost drove away before Hazel brought up that we are missing Nico and Leo. Percy then bolted out of the car and ran upstairs, the rest of us just sat around waiting for them to come back.
After a while of waiting we saw Percy pulling Leo and Nico by their ears, each of them struggling to keep up with the long strides of Percy. They made it to the car, where you could hear some giggles from the other Half-Bloods. We all made room for the blushing boys and the space of the car started to feel a bit cramped, the car might have been big, but there were a lot of us and only so much space. We finally started driving the way to the station.
When we got to Kings Cross Station we got pushed out the car, something about taking too long and other appointments. We picked up our bags from the ground and started looking around for the platform that we are supposed to use. I think it was called platform 9¾ . We were lost, none of us could find the right station, it just went from platform 9 to platform 10. By then we decided to sit on a bench near platform 10, we already failed the quest without even really starting it, as long as we can't get there, we would not be able to finish our mission. It was then when I saw a small group of kids that looked around our age. There were three of them, a girl with frizzy hair and two boys, one who I could've sworn looked exactly like Percy, the other one had ginger hair. They had on robes and had trunks, the Percy look-alike even had a snowy owl. The next thing I know the ginger was running straight to the brick wall with his stuff, and he didn't get crushed, he just ran right through it.
"Hey guys," I said while pointing to where the group once stood, now it was the two of them left. "Hey guys, did you see that? The one kid just ran through a wall." I said. They just looked at me like I was crazy. "I'm not lying." . I pointed to where the group was, now it is just the boy that is there, we all watched in astonishment as the last guy ran through the wall that separated the platforms. We all started looking at each other, it wasn't until Annabeth spoke up when things started to make sense.
"Maybe they are trying to keep it hidden. That might be why it ends with a fraction instead of being a whole number, but why is it 9¾ and not 9½? "
"Well there is only one way to find out, not the math problem that Annabeth, but if that takes us to where we need to go." Thalia spoke out. We all turned to look at Jason, it was sorta funny how we all started thinking the same thing.
"Why is everybody looking at me?" Jason asked.
"Bro, this might be the perfect time to have a reunion with your brick girlfriend?" Percy asked.
"Seriously, it was one time, you guys need to get over that."
"Let's be honest, that is never going to happen." Leo added, making the group, except for Jason, chuckle.
"So?" Annabeth tried getting back on topic.
"Fine." He hesitantly agreed, not that anyone was going to let him off the hook. He put his stuff back on a cart and headed to the wall. When he was about to make contact with the wall, I flinched and looked away. When I turned back I saw no Jason, wow that actually worked. The question now is if that is the place that we need to get to. Jason didn't come back so we all just assumed that it is, hopefully it isn't a trap and we won't get killed.
Then, we all went one by one through the wall. Suddenly it was my turn and I wasn't about to be scared of a wall of bricks, besides I watched multiple of my friends go through it, this was my idea, I can't back down now. I closed my eyes and ran forward, not letting my nerves get to me. I felt a surge of wind and sudden darkness, it was quick because the next thing I see is this big platform with many children running around, crying families, animals going wild, and lots and lots of yelling. There was also this majestic train in front, It was gigantic and looked like it was the center of attention. I think would be fangirling over this train, his idle hands would be itching to touch this thing.
"Wow." That was the only thing I could say, I just stood there taking in the beauty of the train, and the station as a whole. Then I heard my friends calling me over, so I made my way to them. We started on the train, excited to finally get on such a gorgeous train. We looked for a compartment that would fit all of us in it. We had found one all the way in the back of the train, squeezing into the tight space so all of us have a place to sit, this is going to be a long, compact ride.
