Chapter 41: Little White Bird

Aisling and Abaddon left the fourth crime scene with contemplative looks on their faces. The results had been just as Aisling had predicted. The level of malice and death energy at the other sites was different from the first.

The lingering death energy was similar, but the intensity was quite low in comparison to the first site. Therefore, the key to solving the case was connected to that woman.

"You have overextended yourself," Abaddon said with concerned eyes.

"We cannot get good long-term results without some investment." She responded with a smile.

"What do you mean?"

"I thought the reason I could not hear the nature spirits was because of your presence. But it seems they all left the contaminated areas. Now that I have cleansed the bad energy, word will get out." Aisling laughed a little.

Abaddon understood. "So you are trying to spread your good name around Panthalassa."
