Getting inside the car, I tried my best to calm my raging heart inside of my chest.

Rico just saw me getting all cozy with Abram. I just hope he doesn't tell Dad or else I'll be in big trouble.

"Is that why you wanted to go to that coffee shop so bad all of a sudden?" He questioned and long gone his cheeriness and jubilant mood and is replaced with coldness and seriousness, making me wonder why he's behaving just like my father.

"It's not what you think it is, Rico. He just happened to be there" I mumbled as I wiped my dress with a tissue.

"Oh really? I wonder how your father's going to react when he hears about it when he clearly warned you yesterday to stay away from him" he remarked as making me frown at him.

" You don't have to worry about how my father is going to react because that would be my business," I answered back, making my own eyes widen for answering back like that which I never did.
