"So.. It's not confirmed. No need to panic"
"Yeah.." The officer said before leaning to a nearby soldier and whispering something.
"Alright let's continue. This Information will be valuable, so a magei would probably help a lot correct?"
"Yeah it would. There are other humans and I don't understand and that led to a fight so I would like it if the magei can learn there language as fast as possible"
"I should probably mention this, The magei were sending ya is a King-rank. Don't worry as his just curious about the other world."
"Oh I didn't think you'd send someone powerful but, OK. I also wanna know what whispered you to that soldier just now."
"That? Oh I just told him to you know, get ready for a tighter security and more guards patrolling getting ready for a dragon you told us about."
"It's not even confirmed whether it's nest is actually close to the portal and it goes through it.. But I guess better safe than sorry."
"I should probably get back to my camp I can't leave it for too long." He said before being stopped "I should probably tell you to just wait on the other side, Since the magei will arrive anytime now."
"Oh I see.. I'll ready myself to meeting this person. And also See ya!"

Other Side
After He re-enters the portal. He starts readying himself, his happy to find out that his gonna have someone to talk too. Instead of just doing weird hand motions to people he doesn't understand.

15 Minutes Later...

Waiting for a little bit someone finally come's through and out the portal. There shining bright white clothes, black boots and endless looking abyss under their hood where one can see glowing golden eyes. 'Yup this is the real deal, This is a magei.' He thought.
The magei just looks around curiously and ran towards him and crash lands onto him.
"ACK, Hey what are doing??" He says, The magei looks at him and says "IS THIS THE OTHER WORLD!? I READ THE REPORT THE OFFICER HANDED TO ME. WHERES THE WEIRD HUMANOID LOOKING HYBRID? WHERES THE FRUIT BERRY HYBRID?!"He says with glittering glowing eyes (literally)
"Jeez calm down, will see those things when we get there."
"YES I CAN'T WAIT! (>◡<)" He says. Acting like a girl. wait...
"Alright let's go. It's not far, just like a 20 minute walk from here to base camp"
"Oki!"
"Oh right, Because of your hyper activeness. We haven't introduced ourselves yet. My name is Jeremy Lirio, Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you Jeremy Lirio! (✿o‿o). My name is Erina Andras. I am a King-rank Magei, It is very nice to meet you!"
"So did you bring anything that maybe a hindrance to you? If so leave it back at our home world."
"Don't worry, Us magei's usually use wind magic to carry our stuff. And also if you think, Just because we can move through space and time. It doesn't mean we have magic storages. Those are impossible since it's to the equivalent to opening the 4th wall which is practically invisible no matter which side we look at it. So It's the reason why It's applied to a bag instead of using magic to open it."
"I barely understood but ok."
They started walking, Chattering while there at it. Arriving to the climbing spot It's a small climb. But Erina just uses earth magic to make stairs and to climb it.
"That's pretty convenient huh. No wonder a lot of magei's has such good reputation. You guys can do basically anything that's magic related."
"Not really. Most magei's aren't social people, Of course I'm an exception. Since their mostly by themselves most of the time, They usually just study and research for entire days of the week. Though they collab with other magei's sometimes. But most of the time It ends with other arguing with each other since they both have different beliefs and end products of previously research of other magei's. This is what happens when geniuses meet each other. It's not always like this, But mostly it is."
Hearing this made him intrigue. He wants learn more about how magei's live their day to day life. But also hearing this made him no longer jealous of powerful magei's and ordinary magei's. Just hearing the how they are with there usual life is boring, there is no enjoyment at all. Seeing the one he is partnered with made him glad of it.
Arriving 38 minutes later. We arrived much later, probably because she saw the humanoid creature and killing it with absolute efficiency which shocked me. Then SHE STARTED DISECTING IT HOLY SHIT. Understanding the anatomy and how the creature's body works is an absolute for a magei's is what he.. wait he or she? I'll go with just he. He told me that It's every magei's job to learn newly discovered creature. But surprisingly she told me it's organs and anatomy isn't much different from a human.. That's a little creepy.
"Hey wait.."
"What is it?"
"Foot prints. Someone was at our camp. Looking at the foot print, this is probably one person. And a girl too."
"Looking at this foot print. It was probably wearing high heels? Looking at the holes on the ground."
"Who the hell, wears high heels when walking on dirt??"
"I don't know. At least It wasn't wearing a generic but sturdy and efficient boots."
"That hurts.. Because It's true"
"Let's get some rest first. You should also adjust you pocket watch seen's this world's time is different from ours."
"Oki, Also where am I sleeping?"
"You can just sleep beside me. Because I forgot to prepare another sleeping bag."
"Oh tha- Never mind. Don't mind if you do." He says just sleeping beside him.
"Good Night. And hope we don't get attacked in our sleep."
"Good Night :D"
