After sending Lucius flying, Alex unleashed a crimson bullet; he increased the amount of mp to 2000 instead of the normal 1000 MP.

Lucius didn't have the time to defend before the crimson bullet arrived. 

Alex, who should be feeling to have dealt damage to Lucius, frowned because in the middle of the explosion appeared a shield made of light. 

''No good!" Alex mumbled and was about to enter the void, but he was already too late.

The light descended from the sky like it had been sent from heaven. At the last moment, Alex defended using the Eternal Chain; he switched it into the form of a shield but even so, he was injured; he was forced to kneel to kill some of the impact brought by that terrific attack.
