Chapter 198: In the belly of the beast

Ambai entered the dark mansion. The whole house was shrouded in a dark miasma that she was not even able to see much of the decorations.

An ominous feeling surrounded her being. It felt like she was walking into a predator's mouth. 

Ambai gripped onto the locket tightly.

"It doesn't work. I think I already told you," he said softly giggling. 

Wordlessly she walked besides him.

"No words huh? That saddening. Either way we will be spending a lot of time together. One way or another you will end up talking to me yourself," he said and left her in the foyer.

Ambai swiftly ran back the way she came from to the door. But all of a sudden the way back vanished and became a black space.
