Chapter 91: Chapter 91: No Choice

"This can't be possible!" Quintessa's rigid pupils reflected strong disbelief, and her body involuntarily trembled.

Even moments ago, with just one person's width between them, a fingertip's reach, she could feel the powerful interaction forces of the boson distortion sphere. Those forces were capable of twisting matter, shattering it down to the atomic level, causing even her metallic skin to react with fear and recoil.

In theory, this carbon-based life form before her should have been torn apart into atoms, leaving no trace behind. However, the reality was often disappointing. .

He had managed to withstand the boson distortion sphere with his chest and, relying on his inherent defenses, had completely nullified its effects.

Quintessa was taken aback, and her brain momentarily froze. It wasn't until the continuous pain from H'el's fingers piercing her shoulder reminded her that she snapped back to reality.

With a look of incredulity in her eyes, Quintessa forcefully tore away from H'el's grip on her shoulder.

Her two arms pulled apart, revealing carbon-crystal-clear bones and metallic-colored blood. Quintessa instantly moved, disappearing from her original position and reappearing some distance away. The shoulder she had intentionally torn was swiftly replenished with energy. It reconstructed carbon-crystal core bones, veins, fibers, and superficial skin, rapidly restoring her hands.

With a single gesture, her scepter, which had been in her torn hand, instantly moved to her newly reconstructed hands.

"Why are you so powerful?" Quintessa's eyes widened with a sense of unease and coldness as she stared at H'el. She had no idea why this carbon-based being before her was so incredibly strong.

Every cell within H'el's body harbored energy flowing through their spatial apertures. These energies were compressed by him and transformed into electrons' size within the cells, circulating completely within, without leaking out.

Quintessa couldn't see through H'el's physical body at all. She could only perceive the heat and magnetic fields on his surface, which weren't significantly stronger than before. She couldn't estimate the colossal energy concealed within H'el's body.

She swung her scepter once more, and the metallic-colored blood that flowed from her torn arms began to spread along H'el's hands. This liquid metal seemed like a liquid machine, attempting to penetrate H'el's body. However, no matter how it tried, it couldn't gain entry. It finally flowed upward along H'el's arms, seeping through gaps in his nose, mouth, eyes, and ears.

"Powerful? I am so weak though," H'el muttered, his eyes blank, his mental state unbalanced. He mournfully caressed the 'S' on his chest, with its diamond-like outer frame and sharp, cold texture, lost in delusion.

In his mind, the future was a place where countless formidable entities existed: the Olympian gods, the Allfathers, Darkseid, Trigon, the Old Gods, the New Gods, and many others, all possessing the power to obliterate entire universes with a wave of their hand.

And within a single universe, they were all mere avatars, projections, not even a hundredth of their true power.

With the power he possessed now, there was simply no way to survive.

Was he destined to play superhero games with them on Earth?

With his current strength, did he even have the ability to create his own civilization and influence?

H'el, who knew too much, felt a profound unease within the DC Universe that no one else understood.

He didn't want to hide; he wanted to stand tall in the vast cosmos. But it was a universe that posed a constant threat to him.

A single time-traveling event by the Flash could unintentionally exile countless universes, erase countless universes, and create numerous parallel universes.

And who knew how many unseen hands were stirring up turmoil in the cosmos?

With his current power, could he stay in this universe? Could he contend with the gods?

He was unwilling, he wanted to stand at the pinnacle, yet he felt stuck.

H'el's mind was in turmoil, trapped in self-doubt, unable to break free.

During this brief moment of self-doubt, the metallic blood that had infiltrated his body from his facial features was instinctively repelled by the internal defense magnetic field within his body. It was crushed and severed from Quintessa's influence.

The metallic blood, which could turn any carbon-based life into a metallic lifeform, had no effect.

"It's impossible! I don't believe it; you are weak, weak!!!" Quintessa sensed her metallic blood losing connection and felt as though she was plunged into the most massive black hole in the universe. She perceived colossal energies surrounding her from all directions, as if every cell had the potential to become a star.

The universe seemed to be his body.

A bone-chilling sense of dread surged through Quintessa's heart. Her blue eyes with dark borders revealed panic. She quickly waved her scepter, extending numerous cold steel ribbons from behind her body, forming steel cables that lashed towards H'el, binding him into a tight bundle.

'Pong—'

In the next moment, in her panicked state, she instantly teleported back to Cybertron, standing on the high platform at the center of the planet. She activated the ancient Primus Turbine, used to propel the planet.

But as soon as it started, Quintessa felt a chilling sensation throughout her body. She heard the voice of doubt, doubting her own weakness, echoing in her mind as if it were an indelible shadow.

"Why fear someone as weak as me?"

H'el's presence was like a ghost, trapped in his inner turmoil, murmuring self-doubts behind Quintessa. He envied her ability to keep growing stronger while continually doubting his own weakness.

Quintessa felt a strong sense of irony. She heard her own weakness being murmured in her ear, yet he effortlessly resisted her attacks and could easily crush her. She felt that her once universe-conquering power had become a laughingstock.

This humiliation struck deep into Quintessa's heart, piercing through the facade of her immense power. Her blue eyes with dark borders turned from shock to anger, and her face contorted with rage. She shouted, "Then go and die!"

She activated the ancient Cosmic Prime Turbine left by the original Prime and combined it with the energy she had absorbed from Unicron. This created a powerful vortex of light that spun and descended upon H'el.

The entire planet Cybertron erupted in a dazzling light, shining like a second sun in the starry sky.

H'el floated within the vortex of the planet, surrounded by countless energy particles, his brows furrowed in deep thought. His eyes vacillated between confusion and contemplation. He murmured continuously, trapped in his own doubts about his strength.

His body autonomously defended itself, with some of the superparticles upon contact with his skin being absorbed by internal spacetime rifts and sent to various massive energy points in the universe, causing no harm to H'el.

Seeing this carbon-based madman still floating within the energy particles of the planet's vortex without any resistance but autonomously resisting the high-temperature motion that could melt white dwarf matter, Quintessa couldn't help but panic.

What else could harm him?

Quintessa's blue eyes with dark borders trembled. The horror and fear within her were like a colossal black cloud descending upon her.

Her entire body began to tremble, her fearful gaze forcibly shifted, and her eyes, filled with dread and madness, turned towards Earth.

She forcefully plunged the scepter into the central platform, as if a person who had lost everything and lost their sanity. Her trembling body, filled with madness, screamed:

"The symbol of death and destruction, the Lord of Chaos, the embodiment of annihilation, the ultimate power that ends everything, awaken! Unicron! Awaken!!! To deal with this damn 'weakling'!"

A tremendous wave of frequency noise spread from space to Earth, causing the atmosphere to ripple with soundwaves. These vibrations penetrated the Earth's crust, reaching deep into its core.

In an instant, the entire Earth seemed like an ancient monstrous beast, slowly awakening from its dormant slumber.

"Who... has awakened the sleeping...?"
