Chapter 54: Chapter 54 You’ve Lost!

Eddie glared at Spider-Man with a mix of frustration and jealousy, as if the young hero had stolen his girlfriend.

Moments later, dozens of henchmen turned their attention to Eddie, pointing their still-smoking energy guns at him.

Eddie's body trembled.

"Danger!"

Venom's voice echoed in his mind, clearly unsettled by the residual heat from the energy blasts.

Whoosh!

Venom leapt into the air.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

Ghostly blue energy bullets whizzed past as Venom twisted and stretched mid-air, transforming into liquid form to dodge the shots by the narrowest of margins.

Landing on a nearby wall, Venom's limbs morphed into whip-like tendrils that lashed out, snapping the necks of the nearest henchmen. Then, with astonishing speed, it surged forward, biting off another henchman's head.

Swish!

Venom turned, its grotesque appearance—a pair of huge, glowing eyes, sharp fangs, and a lolling tongue dripping saliva—sent shivers down the spines of the remaining henchmen.

The tide of battle had shifted.

Meanwhile, Kingpin found himself hauled up to the rooftop by Spider-Man's web.

Awaiting him was Anton in his Rabbit Suit, now upgraded from the basic armor. Without hesitation, Anton delivered a justice-fueled punch to Kingpin's face.

BAM!

Kingpin stumbled backward.

Spider-Man leapt out of the way as Anton stepped forward, watching Kingpin rise to his feet, shaking the rooftop with his sheer weight.

Spider-Man, though equipped with great power, felt his inexperience keenly. Staring at the hulking figure of Kingpin, his heart raced uncontrollably.

"Batman!" Kingpin's gaze swept over Spider-Man dismissively. "This is your backup? A little kid who hasn't even grown up yet?"

Even though Spider-Man's face was covered, his inexperience was painfully obvious.

"You shouldn't underestimate him, Kingpin," Batman replied, his deep voice laced with a double meaning. "He'll be the witness to your downfall—the lone audience to your criminal empire's collapse."

"Big words," Kingpin sneered. "Survive first, then you can talk."

With that, he gripped his cane tightly and charged at Batman like a tank.

The last time Anton used the Rabbit Suit, it was remotely controlled, limiting its effectiveness.

This time, with Anton inside, the suit operated as an extension of his will. Its capabilities were unleashed to their fullest.

As Kingpin and Batman clashed, the Rabbit Suit's sturdy shell allowed Anton to go toe-to-toe with Kingpin's monstrous strength. While Kingpin bore the physical pain, Anton only faced material damage to his armor.

This battle couldn't drag on too long—Kingpin had no chance of winning.

Especially since Anton's Rabbit Suit was equipped with a powerful cannon.

BOOM!

The cannon aimed at Kingpin.

Kingpin retreated several steps and countered by firing a projectile from his cane, causing the cannon shell to explode mid-air.

From a distance, Spider-Man swallowed nervously. This wasn't just a fight—it was a war.

Whoosh!

Through the explosion's fiery glow, Batman charged at Kingpin again, launching another assault.

Kingpin began to realize something was wrong. Batman seemed to grow stronger as the fight went on, while his own stamina, though not depleted yet, was clearly starting to wane.

The question wasn't if, but when, he would falter.

Still, Kingpin refused to lose confidence. With a grim smile, he growled, "Batman, when I tear through your shell, I hope you'll still have that smug look on your face."

Anton ignored the taunt.

Kingpin had no idea how absurdly overpowered Anton's abilities were.

Even if the Rabbit Suit was destroyed, Anton could switch to the Basic Suit. And if that broke too? Anton still had 6 million Justice Points to purchase an entirely new suit.

BOOM!

Another punch landed.

Stomp, stomp, stomp!

Kingpin stumbled back, his massive frame shuddering under the force. Meanwhile, the Rabbit Suit's fists began to show cracks, and the once-impenetrable chest plate was slightly dented under Kingpin's crushing blows.

Despite the damage notifications flashing across his HUD, Anton didn't waver. He had anticipated this and kept pressing the attack.

The battle raged on for over ten minutes.

Kingpin was now battered and bruised, his body covered in deep purple welts. Blood streaked down his bald head and dripped from his cracked knuckles. His swollen, bloodied hands made him look even more monstrous.

Anton's Rabbit Suit wasn't faring much better. The arms were severely damaged, the chest plate caved in, and exposed wiring was visible at the joints. Movement was becoming sluggish.

Both fighters were reaching their limits.

Spider-Man watched in awe. Despite their battered states, both combatants radiated a terrifying strength beyond anything he could comprehend.

"So this is the world of superheroes? It's insane!"

Spider-Man shivered. While he was proud of his newfound powers, stepping into this level of combat seemed impossible.

"Batman, your armor is broken. Let me see your real face."

Out of nowhere, Kingpin mustered a surge of strength, gripping the Rabbit Suit's head and attempting to tear it off.

"Careful!" Spider-Man cried out.

At the same moment, Venom—having just finished off the energy weapon-wielding henchmen—arrived on the scene. Seeing Kingpin about to rip apart the Rabbit Suit, Venom was about to intervene when the situation abruptly shifted.

"Kingpin, you've underestimated me," Anton said calmly.

With a thought, he accessed his system, where his fan points balance exceeded 20 million.

Repair Rabbit Suit: Deduct 3.2 million fan points (40% of the suit's value). Confirm?

Yes.

Before Kingpin's disbelieving eyes, the Rabbit Suit regenerated completely, returning to pristine condition in seconds as though fresh from the factory.

"How is this possible?" Kingpin gasped.

Spider-Man was equally dumbfounded. A flurry of thoughts raced through his mind.

Instant repair? Memory metal? Or… was the suit's prior damage a deliberate ploy to deceive Kingpin?

Spider-Man concluded it was most likely the third option. True instant-repair technology didn't exist yet, and memory metal wasn't advanced enough to achieve what Batman had just demonstrated.

"Too crafty!" Spider-Man chuckled inwardly, watching Kingpin's stunned expression.

BOOM!

Fully restored, Anton regained the upper hand. A single punch sent the exhausted Kingpin sprawling. Anton quickly restrained him with special chains summoned from the system, securing Kingpin completely.

Dusting off his hands, Anton stood tall.

"Game over!" he declared with a shrug. "You've lost, Kingpin."
