Chapter 4: The Family of Harbingers!

The Next Morning!

Kayn woke up at around 5:00am the very next morning, ready to get to work.

"Sign-In!" Kayn murmured to himself.

[ Congratulations! You have received – A Hunter and Survival Manual ]

Instantaneously, the information from the manual immediately flooded Kayn's mind. Kayn learned how to build traps for animals, how to build a suitable shelter, how to effectively track and hunt animals, how to cook, how to map the surroundings, how to dig efficient drainage channels, making clothing from animal fur, how to cut and preserve animal meat and many more.

Kayn took the cement he bought and build an extremely solid foundation for their future home, all the while digging drainage channels and many more.

Many days passed like this. Kayn would wake up early and go to bed late, all the while the other kids would look at him working, helping in any way they could.

Kayn also signed in many rewards over these days, some of them were useless, yet some of them were extremely beneficial, such as:

[ Congratulations! You have received – An Elementary Introduction to Magic ]

[ Congratulations! You have received – An Intermediate Superpower Training Manual ]

[ Congratulations! You have received – Master Gardening & Farming Skill! ]

The Elementary Introduction to Magic was just what it sounded like, a basic introduction to the various types of magic, how to efficiently cast magic and basic spells.

The Master Gardening Skill gave Kayn full knowledge of master level Gardening and Farming. How to prop soil, grow crops, take care of crops, identify good seeds, and many more.

However, Kayn was much more interested in the Intermediate Superpower Training Manual. This gave Kayn information on how to train various superpowers, such as Telekinesis, Telepathy and Elemental Manipulation to a basic level.

The reason it couldn't go above Intermediate level was because every person was different, and due to that, the way to train their powers above the intermediate level was different, meaning there couldn't be a manual for that, only basic suggestions.

Still, this was incredibly important in Kayn training these children. He knew many of them were MetaHumans, Aliens or Homo-Magi, and with these 2 manuals, alongside his knowledge of how to train their bodies to the extreme, he could effectively train them to protect themselves.

However, that plan needed to be delayed as Kayn built the House. After around 10 days of work with only around 4-5 hours of sleep each night, Kayn had finally finished.

The House was huge, very simple but giving off an artistic feeling. Kayn used knowledge of his previous life to improve the interior and exterior design, making the house very suitable for their situation.

He also left an open space at the back of the house where he could plant fruits and vegetables, a mini-garden spot.

After the wooden house was built, Kayn and the children all carried the remaining materials into the house. All the food supplies went into a Kitchen connecting to a living room. Any technological things went into a private room Kayn build as a Information Hub.

After all of that work, although the children were tired, their faces were full of smiles and expressions of excitement, because they finally had their own home, where they could stay and live, free of most danger.

Looking at the relatively massive, yet beautiful house, the children were very excited, running around the various rooms in excitement.

"Wow, this house is HUGEE Kayn, Amazing!"

"You built this by yourself? How COOOLL!"

After building the house, they had a massive meal to celebrate. During all this time, Kayn had been observing the characters of the children, and realized most of them were still rather good people morally, not selfish, aligning mostly with his own moral principles.

After the meal, Kayn told the children to sit tight, having Hugo and Mika watch over them whilst he left, taking the vehicle to a secluded area.

He destroyed most of the vehicle, destroying another possible way to track him.

Then, he entered the City, acting as a Cargo Supplier who's vehicle crashed. He bought another massive vehicle similar to his old one, paying it off.

Then, Kayn bought around a dozen King-sized Beds, large amounts of blankets and various daily necessities such as toothbrushes, all from different locations to avoid being easily traced.

He bought barrels of food, and seeds of various plants and vegetables before loading everything into the vehicle and driving off.

When Kayn returned, it was around 6 hours since he had left. Kayn had prepared 2 sleeping rooms for the children in the house, both of which were massive.

Then, he laid down the many beds all across the floor, until both rooms were entirely bedded, giving ample space for everyone to sleep well. Then, Kayn called all of the children for a meeting.

They all sat in a gigantic circle, with Kayn in the middle as they looked at him. Kayn had given them everything, so they naturally trusted him fully.

"From now on, we will be living her for the foreseeable future. I know many of you come from different backgrounds, and experienced horrors back there, but from now on, we're a family, a family of survivors." Kayn spoke, making many of the children think back to the past, and look forward into their potential futures.

Still, his words continued,"However, being survivors doesn't mean we should stay weak, we will grow stronger as a family, naturally that means we need to strengthen ourselves." Kayn finished speaking.

Hugo, who was listening intently, spoke, "Then how can we get strong? Strong enough to take revenge?"

The rest also all nodded. Some of them may be aliens, some Meta-Humans or Homo-Magi, but they had never received any training as to how to harness and control their various abilities.

"I'll be training you all. There's 24 hours a day. Research says 8 hours is the most effective amount of sleep. That leaves 16 hours. You all will have 6-8 hours of recreation time every day. The other 8-10 hours will be spent training. 3-5 hours a day will be spent in physical training, while the other time will be spent harnessing your Meta-Human, Magical or Alien Powers and also learning Academic knowledge such as Language, Science and Math." Kayn spoke.

His Plan was simple. For Physical Training, a combination of strength, endurance, flexibility and bodily coordination training would be done in order to comprehensively improve their bodily functions and have anyone with superhuman bodily functions adapt to them perfectly.

For Magical or SuperPower Training, Kayn would write a basic manual that everyone could follow to harness their powers, and then as they develop their individual abilities and could no longer follow the manual, he will give them tips and tricks based off of knowledge of his previous life.

Finally, Academic Knowledge was easy to teach.

"We'll be starting tomorrow, so don't worry." Kayn said.

"We'll all train our hardest, we'll become a Family Of Harbingers signaling that organizations destruction." Mika spoke.

Kayn nodded, allowing the children to disperse as he thought about the future.

He grabbed a pen and some papers he bought, writing out the Physical Training Manual for Monday - Sunday that everyone will be following, sticking the various sheets around the house and in the open training space so everyone knows.

Then, he wrote down the most important parts of the Power Training Manual, doing the same while he would also instruct them more on that the next day.

After having completed the basic tasks, Kayn finally focused on himself and harnessing his own powers.

___________________________

Kayn went to his own personal room, adjusting himself into a meditative position and taking deep breaths before beginning to meditate.

Meditation was a massive part of Kayn's training plans. Most powers, Meta-Human, Alien or Magical, are effected by the emotions of the host, and meditation is massively important to calming emotions and channeling inner peace and improving will and mental strength.

Barely a moment after meditating, Kayn entered a dark space that looked like a galaxy with twinkling lights. Looking down, Kayn saw his own "body", however it was not actually his body.

Simply a spiritual body manifestation in his mind, an ability that is available to all telepaths. Kayn channeled his mental energy, changing it into a magnificent island with a beautiful forest, a huge ocean and a beautiful house in the middle of a lake.

Kayn was organizing his mind. Kayn knew that Telepathy was one of the most powerful abilities to have, yet it was a load of untapped potential, and people needed to massively train it to get it to it's most powerful version.

One of the most important parts of telepathy was having an organized mind and unbreakable will, something Kayn was cultivating at the moment.

Kayn exercised and trained his Mental Power as he organized his mind, cleaning everything up until it looked rather perfect. Then, Kayn organized his memories and knowledge into sections.

There were multiple sections, such as Magical Knowledge, Academic Knowledge, Miscellaneous knowledge and many more.

Finally, Kayn created multiple barriers of ever-strengthening mental energy to protect his mind, creating a near unbreakable fortress in his mind, just in case.

Finally, Kayn exited his mental world, returning to reality where he saw only an hour had passed.

Then, Kayn finally began to learn Magic!
