Chapter 65: Freedom, Only The Beginning

"Sorry, I came late".

Colton ignored Ruby's apologizing tone for not arriving early after going to change her clothing. His attention all the while was on the barrier that was yet to show any changes and still sticking to shining down rays of lights in the disturbing pattern.

It has not been a long time since Ruby arrived, and Jace also came in shortly after her arrival. He also joined Colton and Ruby in observing the event going on above them.

"Get ready". Colton said, giving out orders to his men.

They all prepared themselves to face whatever it was that will be coming once the barrier is lifted. In one full abrupt sweep, the barrier stopped its movement and it all came crashing down with a cracking sound.
