Chapter 130: Escape

Meka stood, staring at all three of them. No matter how she tried to picture it, she would never have thought they would all come together, especially Ife, to rescue her.

Her body was growing weak from standing for so long, but she held onto the gate for support.

Dede walked up to her, holding her before she could even attempt to fall, then he embraced her in a tight hug. Ife narrowed her eyes, wondering if the way he held and looked at her was appropriate for cousins.

Dede whispered as he held her, "We will get you out of here, okay?" He caressed her cheek and felt the hot tears drop from her hand to his.

A few moments ago, she had thought she would be going for interrogation and possibly facing execution. Her life would be cut short like that. Yet here was Dede, Laila, and Ife trying to protect her.
