"Can you put me down?"

Finally Yang Lingyun looked at her.

Seeing him not respond and look at her so intensely Xia Lihua's polite smile became forced and crooked, but she added, "Please...?" 

Yang Lingyun clicked his tongue in mild frustration. He had enjoyed holding her in his arms, feeling her warmth and the soft fabric of her dress against his skin. 

But he reluctantly set her down. 

Xia Lihua tried to appear calm, but if she didn't have to maintain her image, she would have given Yang Lingyun a hard smack on his face for holding her for so long.

The mentors were seated at the other end of the stadium, far from the stage. Song Yazhi, Gao Ming, and Zhang Xuefeng came rushing over as soon as the witnessed the incident.

"Are you okay?" Gao Ming asked, concern evident in her voice.

Zhang Xuefeng also seemed quite worried.
