Chapter 13: How Much Longer?

"What exactly do you mean by 'strip'?" I inquired in disbelief.

This guy had to be kidding me. Was he expecting me to be so quick to respond to his Beck and call? After all the damage he'd caused?

Well, he was completely wrong if he thought I was a pushover!

His brow furrowed in perplexity and annoyance. The expression on his face showed that he had never been questioned about any of his actions before.

"You heard what you heard, human. Take off your clothes and lie down on the bed. I hate to repeat myself and it'd be in your best interest if you quit wasting my time."

His voice was commanding and threatening, almost as if there was some underlying threat beneath it, promising me that I would regret whatever words I said next. And I'd better think twice before opening my mouth again for my own sake.

The thought of all the terrible things he was capable of doing to me sent chills down my spine, and not the good kind this time.
