Chapter 23: A harsh reality

"Leave me the hell alone, you cannibal! You're hurting me!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as he forcebly dragged me out of the lounge by my arm.

After informing me that I would be receiving a punishment, he did not provide any further details and instead began to drag me out by my arm while applying significant force to the area where he held me. 

Because of the way he treated me, I frequently found myself wondering whether or not we had been adversaries in one of our past lives.

His expression revealed the rage and hatred that he felt towards me. And he wasn't even making an attempt to cover it up. If he had the opportunity to have me killed, I have no doubt that he wouldn't waste a second before doing so.
