That is the only word that adequately captures how I am feeling right now.

I was placed in this dreadful cell in this fetid dungeon the previous night at the discretion and on the command of the person I despise the most, Alpha Cedric, and I felt resentful to the very depths of my being. I don't know if the phrase "bitter to the bone," "bitter to the core," or "bitter to the peak" best describes how I felt.

I detested him with every fiber of my being.

I despise him with all of my heart and soul, and he has just given me another reason to deepen my hatred for him by having me thrown into the horrible, stinky dungeon where the worst criminals of the century find a resting place for their mess.
