Chapter 48: Seems like I'm very lucky then.
" That... that was my first.. k-kiss.. " Hestia spoke in a barely audible voice.
The tip of her fingers unknowingly traced up on her lips, trying her best to calm her still agitated nerves.
Her first kiss, one of the most precious thing she'd been keeping for who knows how many millennia was now--------- gone.
Forever.
Just like that??
Saying that Hestia did not feel anything or did not felt like she had lost something would be wrong.
A complete lie.
That was her first kiss after all!
And as a goddess who had never been intimate towards opposite sex before now, Hestia cannot help but be confused as mixed up emotions gradually fills her up.
She's lost in thought.
However, looking at the young man in front of her, with her bright azure eyes finally meeting with his rubillite pair, Hestia's pounding heart significantly calmed down albeit slowly.
The young man she'd only met not so long ago; the first member of her familia here in Gekai; probably also the most important person for her right now... her..

If it is him, if it is Bell then..... it shouldn't be that bad.... right?
That simple thought somehow cleared away the majority of Hestia's doubts and reservation inside.
What's the point of over thinking things right now anyway?
Her heart was still pounding like crazy but as her rosy lips slowy crept into a smile; Hestia thrown herself forward.

She was caught in his embraced, her face landed comfortably on his chest as her arms wraps around his back.
Bell silently watch the young goddess in his arms.
Even his incredibly knowledgeable self was unable to help him think of the best way and thing to do right now.
But he didn't care.
If he can't find the answer he's looking for now or today, then Bell will leave this problem to his tomorrow self; to his future self.
Bell hugged Hestia back gently as he nestled his face on Hestia's head.
She's soft, incredibly so.
And she's very warm.
" It seems like I am very lucky then, Goddess. " he whispered to her.
Hestia didn't reply but Bell felt her arms around his back tightens a little.

An awkward silence followed between the two of them after they finally separated.
Without exchanging a single word from each other, Bell and Hestia focused all their attentions onto their food; mercilessly munching it real quick as if it was their greatest enemy.
Bites, drinks, bites, drinks...
Their food was cleaned up in just moments later and the two continue touring the festival again.

The same voice rings out four different times from the quadruplet prums standing at the top of the building not so far away from where Bell and Hestia were sitting before.
They were the Gulliver brothers, first-tier adventurers of Freya Familia often mentioned in the same breath as Vana Freya.
The four of them were known collectively by the title 'Bringar', the Four Knights of the Golden Flame.
As Level 5s, their teamwork was indisputably the best in the Labyrinth City, and they were powerful enough to overcome the physical disadvantage of being prums.
Naturally, their features were identical. The only visible difference between them was the slightest variance in eye color. From the right, starting with the eldest, they were Alfrik, Dvalinn, Berling, and Grer.
However, as incredible as they might be, the four of them were now here stalking a noob adventurer solely out of their goddess's order.

All of them knew how much interest their goddess has to this rabbit. She will definitely not let him go so easily.
This bastard was simply too lucky to effortlessly gain their goddess favor. Something that they've been risking their lives for everyday but we're still unable to get.
If not for their absolutely loyalty to Freya, these four brothers would have long stepped in and killed this rabbit to permanently get rid of him.
No, they might not even be that lucky to get the rabbit first before their other familia members do so.

The eldest of the prums, Alfrik asked the male elf standing at the opposite building.
This man has a blonde hair and translucent skin. He's also one of the very few level 6 in the city of Orario.
"Absolutely not. " Hedin replied almost instantly without turning his head to Alfrik.

Just over a hundred meters away from them stands this hooded figure wearing navy blue cloak.
Her face cannot be seen but both her flawless hands were clenched into fist. It's unknown what she's thinking right now.
Hedin and the four prums quickly noticed her despite the distance and recognized who she was.
" Yeah.. It's definitely too late for that.. "

Outside the coliseum's entrance, the two cat girls, Ahnya and Chloe were lining up, waiting for their turn to go inside. Ahnya cheerfully raised her hands in the air, smiling brightly to Chloe and the other person behind them.
It was the cool elfess, Lyu who's silently following them without speaking a word.
Her delicate looking hands held a combination of black and white huge chocolate lollipop that had almost never left her lips on their way here.
The Lyu right now is like a child that's too busy enjoying her sweets to care for others.
" But it's really a surprise, meow. Mama Mia finally allowed us to have a day off during festival, meow. I hope it will not rain today, meow. "

Seeing that it's already their turn, Ahnya handed a few hundred valis to the employee at the counter and waited for their tickets.

Hearing her friend/co-worker/sister, Lyu reluctantly lowered her lollipop down and replied.
" I agree. I believe that Mr Cranel is an upright person. "

The three then started bickering again. And as they did that, the show below finally started.
A roar of applause swept through the crowd.
One of Ganesha Familia's tamers had just issued a command and a once uncontrollable monster took a seat on the arena floor like a tamed puppy.
The Coliseum, located in eastern Orario, stood high above the surrounding buildings. Energy swirled within its walls, threatening to bubble out over the top.
" Gotta hand it to Ganesha's guys, nya. That masked woman made taming look very simple making me want to try it also, nya. "
The three girls had a quite great view of the arena from their seats. However, it seems like only the airhead Ahnya was interested at the show below.
" Don't bother, meow. "
Despite the excitement of the crowd around her, Chloe was thoroughly unimpressed.
' I'd long graduated to violence. ' she thought jokingly.
While Luring the other hand continue busied herself with her lollipop.
