Chapter 163: AWG: Court of the Crimson King
At this moment I was sitting in my lounger while wearing a Braindance headset on, but I wasn't watching some BD's to get off to.
What I was actually doing was that I and several of the most influential and powerful people in the world were all in this virtual office space that now exists in a small area of the now New Net that the AWG along with Netwatch has formed.
Right now it's small, like extremely small as there is only a single Server room that is under Net Watch's control making it an area of true neutral ground for us to all meet and talk at.
And not only that this space has models a hundred 100% identical to our actual bodies when inside this section of the new net.

Netwatch, Arasaka, Kang Tao, Militech, Biotechnica, NUSA, Japan, ECC, China, Sovient Union and even a representative from some of the smaller corps were all gathered here.
Each major country's President or leader along with the presidents or CEO's of every major corp was here as well as we all took our designated seats as NetWatch took center stage.
"Thank you all for coming and joining us on the official first server of the New Net." The Netwatch leader, a man by the name of James Harkwick, said to everyone here.
"Now as much as I would love to drone on about the specifics of everything but everyone's time is money so I'll make this short and simple, Netwatch, along with primary help from the AWG and subsidiary help through Arasaka, KangTao and Militech within the next year we are planning to make major server hubs all across the world and soon enough to completely replace the old net and cut humanity away from the place where the Rogue AI's who are soon to over run." He goes onto explain, but I could tell this was going to be long even if he wanted to make this meeting short.

"Fucking finally." I sighed after taking off that braindance headset as I laid there to let my brain relax.
Some it up most of the other corps had questions to ask with Netwatch answering everyone before we could leave which still took three hours with all those talks.
But the AWG benefited tremendously as now we have aid from all the major country's and corps to create the New Net which should fully launch by the end of next year which will increase our passive income by leaps and bounds through internet companies needing to pay us royalties to give full access to their clients.
But because of that now I plan on having my company offer there own internet service to the people to get our full moneys worth from this new business venture.
Though as I was thinking these things over my holo began to ring but the number was unknown to me but it had the Arasaka symbol on it so I decided to answer it.
"Well now this is a surprise, to what do I owe the pleasure of The one and only Hanako Arasaka contacting me today? And if this is about my company's shares on the New Net then I'm sorry to say but those are not for sale." I said giving a preemptive strike on what she was most likely about to talk about to me.
"…. That was one thing I wished to discuss but we can leave that to the side for now Mr. Yamada, instead I wish to discuss a business partnership between Arasaka and the AWG instead." She politely replied back to me.
"That depends, is it you that wants a partnership or is it Saburo that wants this partnership?" I say as I take a cup of freshly brewed coffee from one of the twins before drinking it as I waited for her response.
"…. My father and specfically on the 'Titan' project." She said as I raised an eyebrow at hearing her say that.
I finish drinking my coffee and thought before smiling, "Ahh a mole, how clever, you must have erased all traces of them ever being employed by your company so that my men would be none the wiser when we hired them for you to even find out about that project." I say before lighting a cigar while at the same time my men were now apprehending everyone in the higher up positions that were hired anywhere in the last few months to work here.
"But what, pray tell, would the Arasaka Corperation want to do with our 'Titan' Project?" I say as I sit down while pictures of the moles appear in my retina which totaled up to three which my eyes widened a bit when I recognized one of them myself as I grinned internally as it seemed Fortunate Son was just making things easier and easier for me.
"This Friday evening at Konpeki Plaza, the top floor suite is reserved for the Arasaka family members only so the meeting will be held there." She said but I just laughed.
"Hahaha, oh Hanako you must be joking, Konpeki Plaza is basically Arasaka Tower lite, everyone there is, instead how about the Embers in City Center? It's got the necessary style and isn't owned by either of our companies as of now, this place I find to be a place of neutral ground compared to Konpeki Plaza." I say in return.
She pauses as she is clearly speaking with her father before coming back to me, "Then we have a deal Mr. Yamada, Friday Evening at the Embers is where our meeting shall take place, we shall see you then so until then." She said before ending the call as I sat there smoking my cigar as I looked over the skyline before ringing up my holo to my security team.
"Dispose of the woman and the man with dreads, dump their bodies in DogTown, but bring the man with the short trimmed hair to me, I wish to speak with him in person, also I want our men to start replacing the workers at the Embers club, I got an important meeting there Friday evening and security is a high priority." I said to my security staff who where a mix of combat Homunculi, Ex-Animals and Androids with combat protocols.
After getting confirmation from them I took my leaves of my penthouse as I used my hidden elevator to head straight to my office on a lower floor before I saw one of my pet cats, one I planned to keep unlike the dogs that I had appear here and there for the intimidation factor as I went over and picked the white and furry British Longhair cat and placed it in my lap as I turned my chair away from the door to look out at the city as I pet Fluffy while my cigar smoldered in its ash tray.
(N) And don't worry animals from the system aren't effected by smoke as badly as normal animals are.
Soon enough I heard a knock at the door, "Send him in." Is all I said before the door opened as a man was brought in before the door shut behind him.
"Take a seat." I said without even looking at him as I saw him slowly go around and sit on the couch looking directly at my desk.
"Do you know why you are here? Or better yet why I haven't decided to just put a bullet through your skull like your compatriots?" I turn and face him as I pet my cat as I could see the fear in his eyes.
"Isn't that right Victor or should I say…"
