The Great Ancestral Formation had a slight flaw. The time it takes to absorb those orbs within the wall left a slight micro second gap, and during that micro second the formation was completely defenseless.

Everyone in the capital looked towards the sky as a silver haired man in white robes floated in the skys above the capital with awe and fear.

The emperor in the palace couldn't help but take a step back in fear.

"I'll like to apologize on behalf of my descendant, he's judgement was clouded when he made the decision to go after your life, please forgive him and look past his transgressions, The old man said with a bow.

In return we are ready to cede the spiritual vein mine, and 10 provinces to your immortal empire, we'll also open our treasury to you to take whatever you desire" The Ancestor of Wei family generously offered.

This was a big blow to the reputation and honor of the empire, but there was no way out of the situation, to survive they had to bow in defeat.
