Whenever she had some spare time, Peggy Lewis would browse some news online.

From gossip to current affairs, Peggy took interest in all.

While engrossed in her reading, she noticed from the corner of her eye that someone had taken the seat opposite her, although she didn't lift her head.

It didn't seem like Abigail Ackehurst or Sophie Harrison.

That's because if it had been them, Peggy would have heard their chattering long before.

Peggy Lewis looked up to see that it was Jacob Zahn had sat across from her.

There was even a lunch placed in front of him.

Peggy gave him a glance. Was Jacob eating here now?

"Sorry, this seat is taken." Peggy Lewis said.

"I know, Abigail Ackehurst and Sophie Harrison, right?" Jacob Zahn replied, "There are still two spots here, they can sit when they return."

Peggy smiled, not wanting to make an enemy out of him given they worked for the same company. So she asked, "What about Elijah Hernandez and Tiffany Wagner?"
