Inside their room, Kael finally placed Jacquelyn carefully down on the bed. Then he sat on his heels in front of her, staring closely at her face. The girl looked like she had bawled her eyes out long before he had arrived, and from the bump on her head, it meant she had also been hit before the ritual. Kael's eyes slowly moved down to Jacquelyn's dress; the ripped part of her dress that revealed her breast was his major annoyance, and thinking about it now, Kael was sure he had killed Vander and Valerie easily.
