Chapter 20: Place has been found
With everything in order, the team leader chosen and the route planned we moved out. Twice had taken my measurements and duped me, it was weird seeing and talking to yourself. I already came up with an ultimate move with this in mind.
Twice is really funny, more so in reality. He is a good guy, I have only known him for 30 minutes but I don't want people taking advantage of him. It's too sad.
"So why don't we get to know each other's names or whatever you wish to go by. We need to know who to call out to in case of emergency." Rhino man said as he glanced back at us.
"I go by Dabi, that is it."
"Oh me, me! CALL ME ONCE! TWICE... I meant."
The human adjustable with orange hair goes by Morpho, a fitting name in my opinion. And sonar girl just goes by Lana, last but not least the team leader looks at us as he gets all serious and everyone joins him in the tense situation until a whisper slips out his mouth, "rhino".
"Pfffft" Twice laughs as the rest of us chuckle at how direct his name is. A blush creeps onto his face as he turns away from us.
"Alright enough jokes, let's go, our client is almost here."

A fat man walking into the room five minutes later, smelling of old fashion cologne. He has a mustache with twirls at the end and white fedora to hide the top of his head that also matches his suit.
"This is the team I paid for? An emo kid with burn scars, a psycho with a bag over his head, a muscle chick, and a zoo animal?" He said with a voice opposite of his style, dirty, really really dirty.
Well, that is something I would not really recommend. Insulting the people who are supposed to be protecting you. It doesn't really bother me anymore as I got used to it from all the jeering from before.
I can't say the same for the other people, the only one who didn't get insulted was Lana cause she looked relatively normal but everyone in this org is far from normal. Even though she wasn't insulted, having to listen to a snob is never a pleasant experience especially with one of them being her friend.
Rhino hadn't said a word nor did anything. He was eerily quiet but as expected of someone who lived his whole life as mutant. Although it probably hurt him inside, he kept his cool and stay quiet.
Morpho snorted and changed into a loli and with a voice of allure, "Does this fit your taste better papa?" Insinuating he was a pedophile.
I turn to Twice with a smirk that faded when I saw him, usually he would be making jokes by now but with his shoulders slumped. He looked like he was tired of it all, it had hit a soft spot for him as he thought of himself a psycho too. After all he did not know if he was even the real 'him', maybe he killed the original.
"Hey bud, why are you sad? Don't listen to that Penguin over there, he is an abomination to society. I got a good friend named Batman who will beat him up for you. How about it? Cheer up, I think he is the real psycho for not realizing your greatness!" I said trying to cheer him up with a bit of a light hearted joke. I knew Twice would understand the joke as he had showed me his favorite stories to read with DC being among them.
"hehe, I'm BATMAN! No you're not dimwit." Twice giggling and talking to his other self.
I turn to look at the fat man, he had a vein popping out of his forehead while looking at me. It seems he had read the same story. Oh well. I ain't gonna let someone talk down on someone like that especially my new friend.
They say not to fight fire with fire but I am fire. I lit my arms up all the way up to my shoulders as I looked at the man with a glint in my eyes showing him I ain't someone to be messed with. It seems premature or maybe I just hate arrogant people but I'm genuinely angry for people other than myself and I realize that my place within my new home was with people I could call friends.
I don't know anyone other than Jin right now but I do know him from watching the show. I know how soft hearted the man really is and how loyal he can be to the right people.
"Alright, let's do our job now; we got to escort sir to the airport unharmed." Rhino said as we slowly shuffled out of the building. Three identical SUVs waiting right out the door, all black, with tint and bullet proof glass as well as tires. It was almost like we were escorting the president.
Penguin hopped in the middle along with Rhino, Morpho and Lana hopped in the front serving as a scout with a body guard; Then Twice and I got in the back SUV. We had discussed this beforehand to bring out the best possible outcomes in an unfavorable situation.
The drivers all wearing glasses and suits, like some sort of special agent. All of them wielding guns and who knows what kind of quirks. Settling in as the cars start driving following the GPS path we gave the drivers before hand. I lean back and relax while listening to Jin talk and giving the occasional answer.
"Dabi, What is your type of woman? My type of woman is Jennifer Lawrence!" I raised a brow and chuckled as it reminded me of a certain someone else.
"Oh yea? I would have to say my type of woman would be Mirko. Then what about you Jin, you gotta favorite food?"
"Soba, it's soooooo good, NO ITS NASTY!" He let out as he wiggled thinking of his food and then became as stern as a soldier. The contrast is always funny to me.
This is nice, "Huh, why is the car going that way? HEY, FOLLOW THEM!"

AxesInc There will be no DC crossover, just thought it would be cool to have the comics in this world and all. I also thought about making the person tryna kill Penguin be Lady Nagant but like nah lol. Don't need the mc failing another mission cause ain't no way he is getting out of this one with some type of mouth jutsu and he for sure is not beating her lol.
Anyway, as you noticed I have slacked on chapters a lot. It is mostly because I am waking up super super late and gotta play some games with the boys before they go to sleep and then I usually eat and read myself to help me come up with different ideas. Hopefully also improve my writing skills but then I end up watching Dexter or whatever new movies I can find.
