Chapter 116: Shadow of the Night

With every leap, step, and swing, Noxtis gained a lot of distance while Ember was stunned.

However, soon a voice shouted out which terrified Noxtis to his core.

"I'LL GET YOU NOXTIS!!! IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO TODAY, YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THAT! GET OVER HERE!"

Slipping from the branch he was swinging from, Noxtis caught himself before crashing to the forest floor. Without looking back, Noxtis commanded the shadows to protect him as he ran as fast away as he could.

Not even caring about direction he fled, so far as it was away from the oncoming pain that was in store for him. And he knew that pain would reach him eventually, if not in this fight, then after it.

'Savages. Did I go too far?

I didn't even hit her that hard!

Her butt is soft enough anyway, it's not like it really hurt her.

Maybe it was the crowd... so shy.
