Chapter 236: Matthew's Death

In the city, in a certain house, the lights were on.

Matthew sat behind a desk with a mountain of paperwork before. 

The furniture in the room was old yet luxurious, as the wooden chair he sat on had two red leather pillows, one on the seat underneath him and the one behind his back, for when he leaned.

A bookshelf full of old books covered the wall behind him.

As Matthew wrote on the document, his face continuously changed expressions. From fear to anger.

Crack!

The pen in his hand snapped, unable to bear Matthew's anger.

"Aghhhh!" Matthew roared angrily.

Thud!

He threw the mountain of peppers off the desk, slamming it into the wall.

Crash!

The desk flipped, crashing on the ground. 

'I can't delay this. I must deal with Alden at once,' Matthew panicked. 'I have to get that recording even If I have to risk it all. I'll break into his room.'
