Chapter 56: Present - 26 You paid him to keep his slave?!

When Paul visited him, instead of running as most people would, James opened the door like a man. He faced him with a hard look and clenched jaw. Even though Paul had shot him before but seeing James, he became desperate to do the same once again. 

James stared at Paul without speaking, with a clear warning in his eyes but looking at him was just pissing Paul even more. Remembering Regina and the pain she was going through, Paul wanted to put a bullet in each one of his limbs and watch him bleed out just as he did to her. For what he had done to her, Paul thought James deserved a fate worse than what she had to go through. 

When Paul did not utter a word, James spoke. "You are here to kill me?"

"That is definitely a wish for what you did but no not today." Paul leaned against the door, gaze fixed around his upper arm where the bullet hit him.
