"Then why do you want me?" Regina continued questioning her captor.
"You know what they say." He rested his arms on his knees and returned his gaze to hers. "Always go for the new experience."
She hated his vague responses. It was worse than no response.
"Why did you capture me? To hurt me? To kill me? How does that is going to affect Vulture?"
"To say the least, it is going to piss him off."
"You are overestimating his fondness for me. I can assure you he must have already replaced me with some other poor girl. Hurting women like us will not hurt him. I can promise you that."
Regina watched Paul staring at her with erected walls, absorbing what she said but still not giving any kind of reaction of his own. "Four million dollars... Four million."
Regina's pulse weakened.
