Chapter 238: She Is Not Alone Anymore

"Hey, you can not kill him." shouted Ophelia as she ran towards Tavern who was trampling Larry.

The face of the man was not even recognizable and she was sure he had broken a few of the bones if not all of it.

Tavern titled his head and stared at her with narrower eyes.

"You are trying to save the one who was trying to molest you?" His voice was cold and gloomy as he looked at her with judgmental eyes when she frowned.

"That is not it. He is my neighbor. If he got killed because of me, they would not let me stay in the house. Oliver is still not here. And living alone is.. Forget it! Why am I even explaining to you? 

I am thankful for your help but I do not need it anymore." she kneeled and held the hands of Larry to check his pulse ignoring Tavern's presence completely.

The Tavern frowned. He was the one who helped her but she was ignoring him completely.
