Chapter 118: Alex Was Protecting Her

It was a long day since she had killed many and had run all around. As soon as she gave in to her situation, the sleep took her in its arms and deep slumber enveloped her.

His eyes looked vigilantly at the shadow on the window with a half smirk on his face but his eyes have that incomprehensible hostility.

He stood up and walked towards the door without a sound as if he was part of the darkness.

  His actions were fluid like water drops that were absorbed by the land and became part of it. Even the most vigilant beast would not be able to sense him moving.

He walked and stood behind Lucas who was standing on the window. His eyes were so cold that the man shivered and turned only to meet the cold eyes of Alex who was staring back at them.

"What are you doing in front of my window?" he asked with a tilt of his head when Lucas wanted to take a step back. 

But with Alex blocking the way and the wall and window being him he did not have space.
