"Now if you please excuse me." this time he let her hands go. 

She took a deep breath. She wanted to get rid of his grip. Then why was she feeling disappointed when he let her go?

"If it is about that diamond mine, can we still talk about it?" She paused while holding the door knob. Struggling, her mind told her to leave. She could always have other mines but her body was not reacting.

As if she was spellbound by his voice. No! It must be the quality of mine. Yes, that was it.

"I am listening." she stopped struggling and stared at him.

He finally smiled and sat on the chair while pointing at others with his eyes.

"You must know that they have noticed I did not leave with them." She sighed. Was he not apologetic that he had created rumors? Then why was he creating more of them?

"And you are worried about it?" tsk! Why was he so good at egging her? 

She stomped her feet on the carpeted floor and dragged herself back to her seat.
