With the entrance now devoid of guards, Daimon and Lilith stepped into Valerius' mansion. The interior was shrouded in darkness, the air thick with anticipation. Every step they took echoed through the grand corridors, a haunting symphony of their presence.

Lilith, always one to initiate the conversation, turned to Daimon with a playful smile. "It seems that their master is Valerius, from what the guards said."

Daimon's lips curled into a knowing grin. "So it is Valerius. It has been years since I last saw him."

A subtle chuckle escaped Daimon's lips. "It appears that his power has grown stronger. I wonder what kind of force he wields now."

Lilith's laughter, like the tinkling of a dark melody, filled the air. "Let's find out, shall we, Daimon?"
