Chapter 176: Private Investigator

A week later, the person that Caroline recommended to be their private investigator arrived at the headquarters of the company. 

Amelia was leading the man to the conference room, where Poul was waiting for him.

"I must say, this is the first time I saw such a unique building," Jack said as he looked around the interior of the building. "I wonder how much it cost your company to construct this." 

"The amount of money to construct this building is cheaper compared to building a palace, Mr. Davis," Amelia replied. "If you are looking for an exact amount, then I'm afraid that I can't help you with that. The company founders, Mr. Nielsen, and Mr. Axelsen didn't disclose any information regarding the cost of constructing this building to anyone, not even to the employees."

"I see," Jack said with a nod. "I understand the need for confidentiality in business matters. 

A moment later, they arrived at the conference room.
