Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Exiled

"These mutated and obviously retarded rats are still chasing us!? And just how big is this stupid culvert!?"

Lucian no longer knows how long they have been flying across the sewers for. He thought for sure that the sewers would end soon, but there was no sign of it at all — it also did not help that the botfly they were flying on was obviously starting to get exhausted.

"Come one, Jeff. You can do it…" Lucian calmly whispered in his mind as he started patting the botfly on the head, "...Shakira will eat you alive if you don't. If you think being eaten by those mutated rats is brutal, you haven't seen how Shakira eats; she ate Eduardo, rest in peace, like a lot."

And although the botfly clearly did not understand Lucian at all, the slimy and slow pat it felt on its head felt sinister enough that it felt it needed to continue on flying no matter what.

"Hss…" It was the same with Shakira — none of them really understood Lucian, even Eduardo did not — but for some reason, they all felt what he was saying to an extent. Of course, it could also be attributed to how long they have spent time together…

…but Shakira was sure that Lucian was saying something bad about her.

"Shakira…" Lucian then let out a small sigh in his mind as he saw the Hoarders still chasing after them, "...I think this is it. You and your unborn child need to live on for me and Eduardo."

"Hss?"

"They are never going to stop chasing us," Lucian crawled to the back end of the botfly, "I'll try to stop them. Although it was brief… I truly am glad that I experienced what it was like to have a family. Farewell, Big Titty Lizard."

"Hss!" Lucian was about to leap off of the botfly, but Shakira caught her before he could do so — Lucian was about to struggle, but then he saw something shooting out from the ground and hitting one of the Hoarders; dropping them almost instantly.

"...What?"

It was followed by more, and another Hoarder dropped. Lucian could hear them squeak loudly, pointing toward the direction where the projectiles were coming from before finally retreating and flying away.

"They… are gone? Shakira, what was—!!!"

And before Lucian could ask in his mind, he felt his vision shift as Shakira just jumped from the botfly — he wondered why at first, but when their botfly was also shot down from the dirty air, the only thing Lucian could really do was close his imaginary eyes in respect.

"You've served as well, Jeff," Lucian then crawled beneath Shakira as they were falling, serving as a cushion for her as they landed, "M'lady."

"Hss…" Shakira nodded and patted Lucian, slightly getting some of her ooze on her palm before it returned to Lucian. The two of them could not relax at all for even a single second, however, as they suddenly found themselves surrounded by several lizards; most of them were standing on two legs, while some were crawling like a gorillas.

"This place is so weird, I swear…" Lucian whispered in his mind as he stared at each of the mutated lizards surrounding them. They were smaller than Shakira; their lizard faces and upper body, however, were somewhat closely similar to her. The only difference is that they have feet, while Shakira's lower body is that of a snake's.

"Hss…" Shakira showed both her palms as she hissed.

"Hss!!! The others did not seem to like this, however, as one of them approached Shakira and pushed her on the back.

"Hey!" Lucian was about to do something, but Shakira quickly lifted him up from the floor while shaking her head, "You… know these people? They… don't look intelligent at all."

"Hss…" Shakira quietly hissed before just following the group of mutated lizards, towering over them as they were probably only the size of an average human hand.

Lucian had already noticed this before — Shakira and Eduardo were completely different from the rest of the mutated creatures of the sewers. The Hoarders, while similar to Eduardo, were quite small and were not as perceptive as him — even when using tools, they were clearly not as intelligent as Eduardo and were acting first on instincts.

Not to mention Shakira, who, if not for her inability to speak words that Lucian understood, might as well just be completely human. Then again, Lucian actually also felt himself dumber as soon as he was reincarnated as a special irradiated sperm — of course, it could just be attributed that his father, albeit holding a high position in some sort of nuclear facility, was not as smart as he should be.

"...Woah."

And as the group of mutated lizards led them deeper into the sewer, Lucian could not help but let out an awe of breath in his mind as he saw the almost hundreds—no. The thousands of mutated lizards staring at them; very much like everything else in the sewers, they live on a pile of trash that served as their home.

Although unlike Eduardo and Shakira's mountain of trash, it was more proper to call the mutated lizards' kingdom as a large nest. A large… creepy nest.

Each one of the mutated lizards all started to approach them, but not so close as they all just stood on the sides, all staring at Shakira with their red eyes. And soon, they seemed to have reached some sort of plaza — and another group of lizards who were bigger than most were waiting for them; not, however, bigger than Shakira.

And as soon as the large lizard with massive breasts, who seemed to be leading the entire pack, raised its hand, all the other lizards lowered their bodies.

"What is this… planet of the apes?" Lucian could not help but comment in his mind. But before he could comment anything else, Shakira also lowered her head, "What are you—"

But before she could actually bow, the large lizard practically slapped her on the face and lifted her up; preventing her from bowing.

"Why did you do that!?" Lucian's tendrils were about to shoot out from him, but Shakira held him tighter.

"Hss…"

"Wait…" Lucian then looked back and forth between the large mutated lizard and Shakira, or more specifically, between their breasts, "...Wait, this is your home?"

"Hss!" The Lizard Leader loudly hissed as it pointed its finger to where Lucian and Shakira came from. And as it did so, all the other lizards also pointed either their fingers or their heads.

"...And you don't seem very welcome here."

"Hss…" Shakira then placed Lucian on the ground before touching her pregnant belly, "Hss…"

The Lizard Leader looked at her belly for a few seconds with its wide eyes, before an even stronger hiss escaped from its wide mouth.

"Hss. Hss!!!"

"You don't have to scream at her!" Lucian moved between Shakira and the Lizard Leader, but he was just completely ignored.

"Hss…" Shakira did not seem angry at all; in fact, she seemed to be pleading as she once again tried to bow her head, but the Lizard Leader prevented her from doing so.

"...I see," and it did not take Lucian to realize why — Shakira was completely different from them; very much like how some animals with albino are killed by their pack for being different…

…Shakira was exiled for being bigger and having the lower body of a snake.
