Chapter 373: Qin Liling's past - II

Bai Liyue felt sad after hearing Qin Liling's story. Qin Yufeng's father was a scum who cheated an innocent woman and left her alone. She wanted to know more, but when she saw Qin Liling's crying miserably, she hugged her.

Patting her back slowly, she whispered soothing words in her ear. Qin Liling continued to cry, but after a while, she felt better and stopped crying. She moved away from Bai Liyue's embrace and looked at her with a face full of embarrassment.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to wet your shirt," she apologized. 

Bai Liyue looked down and noticed a wet spot on her shirt. She shrugged casually and waved her hand, "It's fine." 

Qin Liling nodded with a sigh and wiped her tears.

"Do you want water?" Bai Liyue asked. 

Qin Liling shook her head. "No." 

"Want to continue?" 

Qin Liling nodded.
