Chapter 1: marriage proposal

One day Zaira was informed by her family members she'd received a marriage proposal from her cousin Ali. She was overwhelmed with all the different feelings she felt such as anxiety also she was worried what if he rejected her later on due to her visual impairment. She thought what she should do so after a few days she decided she would say yes to the proposal. As the days and months passed Zaira and Ali's wedding was coming closer. She flew with her parents to Pakistan, she was jetlagged and so many guests to come see them. Then there was the matter of getting used to the different time zone. But there was such less time and so much to do such as buying outfits, jewellery shoes and finding a makeup artist. Luckily it was all getting done, tomorrow would be Zaira's henna ceremony it made her think how her whole life would change she'd become someone's wife and daughter in law. She had butterflies in her stomach.
